The property is exactly as you see it in the photos. We were very satisfied with the location and the property is very well appointed. Will definitely recommend this property and will stay there again if ever in Newcastle!
Wonderful house and location!
This house is immaculate and has such great style. Plenty of space and my family of four was very happy here. Also great location in a safe neighborhood and a 2 minute walk to Darby Street. Libby is very helpful if you need anything.
Love the Scandinavian look
I’m a big fan of the simplicity of Scandinavian design so loved our stay and have been wanting a good reason to stay there for a while so it was lovely to spend my 60 th Birthday there.Our host Libby was wonderful and made our experience perfect. Libby’s shop is dangerously close but love it.
Fabulous
What a fabulous home away from home
Really great place to stay
We spent 3 nights at the start of Winter and whilst weather was poor, the location means your walking distance or Uber distance to everything. Libby is a fabulous host, always available and the cabin is wonderfully renovated, beautifully clean and stocked. Without hesitation we will book here again.
We loved it at Pappa Sven's!
Our stay at Pappa Sven's Summer Cabin was fantastic. The home itself is beautifully decorated throughout, full of light, with a lovely courtyard garden. The suburb of Cook's Hill is full of fabulous places to eat and shop and close to Newcastle's amazing beaches. We enjoyed walks to the foreshore and along the spectacular coast walks and amazing sea baths. Libby is also a great host.
Can't fault it and can't wait to go back!

Pappa Sven is located in the inner city Newcastle suburb of Cooks Hill. We love this character area which is easy walking distance to many restaurants, bars, Newcastle Art Gallery, Museums, Newcastle Harbour, the University and much more.
