3 bedroom, 2 bathroom House among the treetops near the Inlet and Ocean Beach.
About lorraine spencer
I am a mature aged artist who lives in Western Australia and I purchased the Denmark house to eventually retire to. The house is happy, bright and in a quiet location with trees, birds and natural environs. Idyllic retreat for retirement. There is a small studio/reading area where those with artistic urge can do some drawing or painting etc.
lorraine spencer purchased this House in 2014
Why lorraine spencer chose Denmark
Denmark is a wonderful peaceful place and I have visited it many times over the years on annual holidays. My parents have also retired to Denmark and have found the people of the area to be very inviting and friendly. I love the ocean the house is not too far from the beach or the Inlet and I can hear the ocean surf roar at night and see the water from the Inlet from my balcony through the trees. Birds are everywhere and its a joy to be there.
What makes this House unique
Birds are constant visitors to the property due to the trees and bush around the house, the quiet locality is restful. The house has Inlet/River glimpses through the trees from the balcony and deck areas. The house is light filled having large sky lights that traverse the ceiling from south to north. The house is located a few hundred metres to the Bibblumun track. This house will appeal to those that like nature and want a quiet retreat that is a quick drive to either the town, river and ocean.

Everything we expected
Property was beautiful and clean and in an amazing location!
The property was spacious and in a relaxing bush setting.
The steep driveway (that the owner warns about) could be limiting for some people.
A maintenance issue was addressed speedily and efficiently by the owner.
Lacking a few items that would be considered standard in a holiday house eg. bedside tables and lights, iron & ironing board and hairdryer.
Overall we enjoyed our stay.
We had an enjoyable stay everything you needed clean and tidy also good for our dog , beds were comfortable
Perfect for us; 1 adult and 2 kids

We had the most peaceful stay in this gorgeous home in Denmark. Watching the wildlife and the trees through the kitchen window made me WANT to wash the dishes! Such a gorgeous home that has everything you need for a weekend of switching off the screens and tuning into the family. 100% recommend.
Denmark has many local wineries, restaurants and cafes close by in the Denmark Shire. Forrest walks, bibbulmun track which runs from Dwelling up near Perth to Albany runs by the the river below Bracknell Crescent. The Munda Biddi Trail for mountain bikes also runs through bush around Denmark and surrounding areas. Summer fun includes surfing at Ocean and Lights Beaches, snorkel, swim or dive at Greenspool. Paragliding off Lights Beach is also becoming popular. Fishing off the beaches and rocks is a popular past time. Whale watching tours can be found in Albany nearby.
