We were in town for a wedding and the property handled a large group really easily. Perfectly located to the winery the wedding was at. Will stay again!!

Neat and clean
We had great stay at Claire’s property. It’s neat and clean. Claire helped us the fireplace makes the whole warm for the whole stay. Will definitely going back.
We have a great stay, the farm is gorgeous. The kids loved all the animals and it was just so lovely being on the land with no noise. Although the excitement of our kids probably changed that.
Thanks for your hospitality
Really enjoyed our stay at Beaudesert. A very quiet and peaceful farm stay. This very spacious, functional home with aircon/combustion heater/electric blankets kept us warm and cosy and the beds were really comfortable. Claire was a great host, she was quick to respond to any emails and very accommodating. When we visit Mudgee next time, we’re sure to stay again.
Kind Regards
Debbie and Co
Lovely farmstay near Mudgee. Warm and comfy house with plenty of space for the adult family to spread out. Claire was there to welcome and kindly supplied some fresh bread, eggs and milk on arrival. The Wifi worked well.
There are a couple of fun walks on the property and a short 15 min drive into town. My hubby went mountain biking around and had a great time.
Will stay again when next in Mudgee.
Perfect get away, very child friendly and plenty for the little ones to explore their imaginations.
We want to thank Claire an Peter for allowing us to stay in their lovely property, it is well set out and only 15 min trip to Mudgee town though we only left when we needed to as the place is just beautiful. The place is quite spacious with all the amenities you would need.
The kids had a ball and enjoyed collecting the chicken eggs each morning while accompanied by whiskers the cat and beautiful Lucy the corgi.
We will defanately be back, we really enjoyed our stay and the kids had a blast.
Regards,
Nick
Great location, convenient with beautiful rural setting
The property was as described, convenient to Gulgong, Mudgee and wineries. Lovely rural setting, fantastic views of the countryside, lovely big home where we had 8 adults and one toddler (could have had 2 more people also). Was good all being in one place together as we came for a wedding at a winery only 20 minutes away.
The booking process was easy, all queries answered and Claire even provided cot and high chair.
Claire was easy to deal with and was lovely to get a chance to meet and say hi when she called in to check we were ok.
Will definitely stay again if we are ever over that way and will be sure to tell our friends and family how lovely it was.

Magic
This place is just magic! Loved all the hosts extra touches and perfect accommodation for a large group. There are 2 sides of the house with a kitchen in the middle and a lounge room in each side so lots of personal space.
The view around is stunning and the cows on the property make the very long driveway an amazing experience first thing in the morning.
It was also super clean and the fire/l and heater kept everything so warm.
I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. The photos really don’t do it justice as it is just magic.
Claire and Peter are lovely hosts and always accomodating, this is the second time we have stayed at their lovely cottage. Unfortunalely, we experienced very wet weather during our stay which turned out to be a little adventure for the kids as the road out became flooded.
The cottage is spacious and accomodating, the kids loved the chickens and exploring the land. To improve and make the place shine I would suggest some basic maintenance and some new utensils such as frypans etc..
Hopefully we get better weather next time!
The property itself is beautiful however be aware the location is misleading on the map as "Central Mudgee".
I booked this listing as it was shown close to town and thought we would be able to get a taxi or walk home after dinner and drinks in Mudgee.
The property is actually 18km north of Mudgee, and I did not find this out until the day before arriving. Our wine tour company charged us extra to get too and from the town and we were not able to stay in town for dinner as it was not guaranteed a taxi would take us home. The owner refused to accept any responsibility for the listings inaccuracy or refund us for the additional pick-up/drop-off charge due to the misleading location.

AMAZING STAY AT A WONDERFUL HOME
Where do I start? We were a group of 9 women who were needing a relaxing weekend away. We stayed for 2 nights. The house was very spacious and bedding was plentiful & all linen was provided. We felt so very at home here once we arrived. The property owner Claire visited us not long after arrival. We were provided with abundant breakfast items to cook on our first morning there with bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, butter, 2 loaves of bread, 2 litres of milk, 3 litres of orange juice, plunger ground coffee, specialty tea inside a very well equipped kitchen. There are 2 greatly sized lounge rooms, one with a wood heater. 2 really good sized bathrooms with bath mat, hand towel, bath towels & face washers provided within. A great verandah out the front of the property welcomed us on arrival with ample seating for large groups. Our nights were spent there enjoying drinks, laughs, patting the owners cat & 2 dogs that randomly showed up every now & then. The property has a great country feel & charm with the sight of cows, horse & chooks in a paddock right next to the home. The property sits about 600 metres off the main road down a track leading up to the house. It was the perfect home away from home with just a stones throw away from the town of Mudgee & it’s wineries & eateries. I grew up as a child in Narromine near Dubbo NSW, and this property brought back so many fond memories of country life, as I have lived in a city for the last 30 years since leaving. I would highly recommend you stay at Beaudesert when visiting Mudgee next time round. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Thank you again Claire & family for your welcoming hospitality. We definitely look forward to staying there again in the near future. Linda & friends.
We went with our 2 young kids and some friends. The farm is absolutely beautiful and check in process easy... if you read your emails :)
Hosts were amazing. We didn't see them except to wave hello from afar but felt very welcome.
My two year old loved it. We met chickens, sheep and cows. I was a bit worried about my newborn waking others throughout the night but the layout meant we were far away from other bedrooms.
The cottage kitchen is so well equipped.
I can't recommend this place enough. It's about 20 minutes from mudgee but mudgee itself isn't much to look at. The landscape and setting is just so special. I can't recommend this place enough.
We had the pleasure of staying at The Cottage over the Easter weekend. It's a beautiful property and the Cottage is warm and homey with plenty of space for 6 adults and 4 children. The children had an amazing time feeding the sheep, goats, cows and chickens whilst the adults enjoyed the firepit and local wineries. Claire was a warm and accommodating host and we hope to visit the property again sometime in the future.
I took a group of ladies to Beaudesert Cottage, Mudgee for a relaxing getaway and that's exactly what we received. The farm stay was very peaceful and very suitable for the activities we had planned. Claire was welcoming with fresh eggs, milk and bread. The beds are extremely comfortable. Some attention needs to be paid to plumbing, live wasp nests, spiders and their thick webs but it's the country after all. Just 15 minutes out of Mudgee town centre, Beaudesert is in a perfect location.
We enjoyed our stay at the Beaudesert cottage. The place was spacious and could easily fit our group of 7 adults.
Lots of kitchen utensils were available.
Claire was a great host. We highly recommend this place for whoever wants to spend a few days away in the Mudgee countryside.
Had a wonderful girls weekend away that had the right balance of activities and downtime. The fireplace, expansive views and thoughtful touches really made it such a warm and cosy stay.
We stayed at this property with another family for four nights. It was fantastic! The kids absolutely loved the farm and seeing the animals each morning. There was plenty of space to ride their bikes and have a game of cricket. The location was good, not too far from the town centre and we took a day trip out to Dubbo zoo. Thank you for having us Claire!
Historical and working farm, peaceful and quiet yet still close to Gulgong, Mudgee and Goola for dining out and daily exploring. Claire and Peter are wonderful hosts and encouraged us to venture out around the property, and to the river. The cottage is very well set up, clean comfortable and all you could ask for a long weekend away from the hustle & bustle.
