FOREST GARDENS GETAWAY is a small Bed & Breakfast located on the edge of the Ottawa National Forest & the Sylvania Wilderness Area. If you’re looking for a place to help you put away the cares and concerns of the world, look no further! We have been hosting guests for 9 years and have loved every minute of it. Our goal is to provide a peaceful, retreat-like experience for our guests and we do whatever we can to make you feel comfortable and welcome in our home.

Snowmobile season is almost upon us! Trail #3 is located at the end of our driveway, 1/2 mile from our home, giving you fast access to one of the premiere trails in our area. Land O Lakes, WI is 2 miles to the south and Watersmeet, MI is 6 miles to the north. In addition to snowmobile fun, there are 7 miles of groomed cross country ski trails behind the house. We start your day with a large breakfast and you can end it in front of the cozy fireplace, your drink in hand.

This large room has a queen size bed. Your large private bathroom is located immediately outside the bedroom door. Robes are provided.

We have a separate suite on the opposite side of the house from you and are as available as you wish for us to be. We love to visit with our guests but also want to give you your privacy if you so desire!

Please also check out the lower level 2 bedroom/1 bathroom suite that sleeps 4 (property #4642791). The entire guest area is available at a discount for larger groups up to 6.

Best place ever

If you are looking to relax or get out and do things this is your place.Our stay could not have been any better. Debbie and Al are so friendly and want to make your stay the best they can that they go way above any expectations.I cannot say enough about our stay. And I will not even say anything about the breakfast you have to experience it for yourself!

Perfect Getaway B&B!

Online booking was so easy to do and we liked that they did not require a 2 night minimum to stay since we were only in the area for 1 night. Debbie and Alan were very welcoming upon arrival and had great suggestions for things to do. Home is secluded and extremely quiet/peaceful. Lovely craftsman built home. Gardens landscaping spectacular. Accommodations beautifully appointed. So comfortable. Large delicious breakfast. Lake views complete with Whistling Swans. Hosts Deb and Alan were so warm and welcoming. It was a much needed peaceful retreat for us from a sad day filled with sad news that we received as we were traveling to the North.

Simply great.

The home is beautiful, the surroundings serene, and the hosts warm and accommodating (and great cooks!). We hiked, kayaked, and mountain biked, enjoyed delicious dinners and shopped a bit. We were sad to leave and would stay here again.
