Relaxing Stay

We entered the condo and it was very clean and welcoming. We were very pleased with all the items the condo offered. It has a great assortment of kitchen products. It offered a wagon, floats and chairs to take to the beach. We enjoyed touring the island and relaxing.

DJ’s Haven was amazing

This condo was more than what we expected. Very short easy walk to the beach. The condo was spacious enough to entertain two families. We couldn’t have asked for any more for the amazing deal!

Perfect for a large group

This condo was big enough to handle our group of 8 adults and teenagers. There was plenty of room to spread out and having 2 and a half bathrooms really added to the convenience factor. The central location on Oak Island was another bonus.

Nice but not great

We found the unit to be a wonderful layout, well appointed and in a great location. Unfortunately the condo had not been well vacuumed, the kitchen floor was dirty and various tables were dusty. Given the “management rules” for cleaning prior to departing, it felt that the home is only as clean as the previous renter. In addition, as previously mentioned, the towels are extremely cheap and several had stains... If these concerns are not issues for you than you will love it...

2019 Oak Island Family Vacation

Our family enjoyed our week at Oak Island. Wished we didn’t have to leave. We loved the condo! It had everything we needed. It was decorated very pretty and the kitchen was very well stocked. Location was great. Just a short walk to the beach or to get ice cream (which we did most nights). Loved having the pool to come back to after a day on the beach. Definitely would love to come back next year.

Great trip!

This was our first time staying on Oak Island. We came down to celebrate my son's graduation. We had family fly in and each of my sons brought a friend. There was room for all 8 of us. The condo was wonderful. First of all, it was extremely clean. All of the rooms are a great size, and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is the biggest that I have ever seen in a condo, and it is very well equipped. I will say that we had a bit of a time trying to figure out the remotes for the TVs, but once we did we were fine. The unit has a washer and dryer which was very convenient. The location of the condo is fantastic. Its two blocks from the beach, and one block from the grocery store. There are several restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay again in this unit should we come to Oak Island again.

Property was nicely decorated but will not return.

Enjoyed the stay however for the money the towels and sheets could have been nicer. I guess I thought the towels would be better or same as hotel but that was not the case. The floor and carpet needed cleaning. The counter tops had not been wiped and there was food and grime on it. The water pressure in kitchen was terrible. I do not plan on returning.

Great place! Relaxing!

We had a great time at this location. The kitchen was well equipped. I love the layout of the condo. It was great to have the linens included. The condo was very clean and well updated. We had a lot of room and the kids had a great time. The walk to the beach was kind of far but manageable. We had an amazing time at oak island and will return next year.
