Very clean. Nicely renovated with plenty of space for a family of 5. Ideal kitchen with all appliances readily accessible. The back deck was the standout. A great entertaining and hang-out space. We had a great time.
The property has everything needed to be self sufficient and the huge back deck was a bonus! We spent most of the time when we were ‘home’ out back.
Location is close to all and we had a brilliant time.
Highly recommend this property to all.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
The property was located a short walk from Moffat beach or a short drive to Kings and Dicky Beach. The decor and standard of the house was very good. An outstanding feature of the home is the large deck out the back for great alfresco dining. This was enhanced by the varied bird life.Having two lovely bathrooms meant having a larger group in a two bedroom home was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances and with Coles nearby it made cooking easy and enjoyable. We travelled from NZ with a baby and found the need to supply towels and sheets tricky. The portacot listed was not available on arrival. The host was contacted about this problem several times and he never responded or apologised. This was very disappointing. If had not been for local family supporting us we would have had a very difficult stay.So overall - loved the property but the host needs to be clearer about what is provided. Matthew’s communication had been great up until our arrival. He did say to contact him if there were problems but this did not turn out to be accurate.
Beautiful place to stay very clean only downfall is my dog got out on buzy road very lucky girl she is as a couple of cars just missed her not sure how maybe an extra lock on inside of gates would be great Thankyou Matthew you have a lovely holiday home and your great to deal with A+A+

Beach getaway
Beautiful property in a great location.
Didn't receive check in info until 5pm day of check in. This included some key information that would have been very useful to know before hand. As we had already left for the destination that was a bit annoying. But if
the home was well set up for what we needed, kitchen was well equipped and clean, we really enjoyed the outdoor area. Thank you Matthew for letting us stay.
Property is advertised as a Sunny Beach Haven 5 minutes walk from Moffat Beach. It is about a mile from Moffat Beach, and the other beaches in the Caloundra area. The place is delightful though, very clean, great bi-fold patio doors for a true outdoor living experience. The local area is very good. Everything you need is close by and you can just as easily walk to Shelly Beach, Kings Beach and Dicky Beach - all of which are equally wonderful. There were no towels or linens provided, and this is not stated on the property description. I received an email the week before telling me this, which meant I had to go and buy some cheap sheets, pillow cases and towels. It would have been good to know earlier.
Great location. Private fully fenced property with everything we needed. Warm and cosy. Great instructions from host prior to stay. We brought bed and bathroom linen as requested, but not a teatowel or something to wipe benches in the kitchen. A teatowel and some paper towels or wipes would have been useful, but otherwise lovely stay.
It was a great property with very basic facilities. On holiday you don’t want to be looking for a dryer after washing when it’s raining. The tv needs updating with a working remote that doesn’t have a rubber band holding it together. We had to buy a battery for the fan remote.
The home was well equipped & stocked with everything needed. All very clean & presentable. Small TV just a basic one no smart free-view. REMOTE DIDNT WORK PROPERLY ON TV Need a NEW ONE one, and batteries were flat & new ones didn’t get it working right either. Had lots of problems which was a shame when at night we wanted to relax & watch the TV it was such a hastle. Location isn’t good as had to drive in off a very busy road & open gates first with back of car sticking out. Same busy situation reversing out as you couldn’t turn around inside the gates. Apart from that we had a good stay.
Went with a friend and we had a restorative and restful time, away from the stresses of life. Nice perk, I was able to bring my dog Nike. The layout of the unit was exceptional and the back veranda was a real plus. It was rainy the first few days but not a problem with the roof on veranda. Then we had a few days of sunshine. The property manager was responsive in answering queries and was pleasant and helpful. The street is a very busy one however, so good to know ahead of time. My dog did not like to walk on that Main Street, but side streets are more manageable. I noticed that people of the area are very friendly which was nice. The unit itself was very clean and spacious. We each had our own bedroom and we did not have to share a bathroom which gave us ample privacy. The unit is also quite attractive with beautiful wood floors. The kitchen is modern and the stove is an induction type, so a little bit more complicated to get the knack. Good advice to read up on how to use. There is the induction stove top and an oven. Plus there is a microwave in the bottom of a separate cupboard next to the kitchen cupboards. We only found it when we were leaving. Also there is enough outside area for a dog to roam and lovely trees surround the yard and all fenced in. We even stayed an extra night. There is the fenced parking area for your vehicle, but it is a good idea to park near the grass area in the front and backed closer to the gate, since the birds will poop on the vehicle.
We stayed for a week and loved the property, it had everything we needed and more. A short stroll to cafes and a beautiful beach. We also loved that we were able to bring our dogs away too.
Would love to stay again
The property of neat and tidy, however the lawn could’ve been mowed before our stay and the gardens and paths maintained.
Well equipped with everything we needed.
Wonderful place! Had a lovely time.
The only thing that was not like in the pictures was the BBQ...Was expecting the grid style BBQ not a plate and also considered using the pizza oven which was non existing, but all in all a great spot with a lovely covered outside area which was wonderful when it rained
