Villa Scarlato - Elegant Retreat in the Amalfi Coast

Villa Scarlato is a private villa built in the 1930s, recently renovated respecting its history and the territory that surrounds it. In addition to a view that embraces the entire Gulf of Amalfi, which can be enjoyed from a large terrace and two suggestive balconies, the Villa benefits from a privileged position: not far from the sea, but at the same time immersed in the peace of an extensive lemon grove, perched on the slopes of the Amalfi Coast mountains.

Our structure is designed to offer its guests an authentic and unforgettable experience - dedicated to those who wish to enjoy the beauty of the Amalfi Coast from a refined location. The interior has been designed to perfectly balance the classic Amalfi style, characterized by hand-painted majolica and ceramics and pieces of antique furniture, and the most modern canons of design.

The structure covers an area of about 400 square meters, including a large panoramic terrace of 200 sqm with breath-taking views of the Amalfi Coast, parking for up to three cars, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, and garden with outdoor barbecue area and solarium.

Fantastic villa

We can't recommend this property enough. The owners were incredibly helpful and responsive. The villa is beautifully furnished and the kitchen is fully equipped. If that wasn't enough, the views from the expansive terrace and balconies are spectacular. It was an amazing experience.

Beautiful Villa Scarlato

Villa Scarlato was the perfect place for our family of four to explore the Amalfi Coast. The views from the terraces were most breathtaking. The Villa was very clean and well-appointed and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Floriana was a perfect host and easy to communicate with. Her suggestions for dining and shopping made for a very memorable trip. We hope to return again one day!

Amazing stay in Maiori!!

The Villa Scarlatti was a wonderful home for our week in Maiori! The views are unparalleled and the property is very well appointed and perfectly maintained. Our family of six had ample space to spread out and relax. The bright beautiful floor tiles, thoughtful decor, and expansive terrace and patios made this villa everything you image when you dream of travel to the Amalfi coast! The location is tucked into a lemon orchard on the hillside along the coast - adding drama to this stunning property. The driveway to the villa is steep and winding so be advised. We struggled with our large vehicle and ended up parking at the bottom of the driveway (which meant we walked up and down the steep/long driveway). This was no issue for our crew, but someone with limited mobility would struggle.. The only disappointments were the lack of central air and despite only being .4 miles from the beach it is not walkable. The host does provide electric fans in every room, but they were no match for the heat wave that hit early July. The evenings cooled enough to be comfortable, but mornings and afternoon were toasty! I would absolutely go back to Villa Scarlatti - but not in July. The beaches were a short drive away, but we had hoped our kids could walk to the beach on their own. The narrow winding roads are not favorable to pedestrians. The locals do it, but we were not comfortable walking with traffic without sidewalks. Italy, Maiori and Village Scarlato will always hold a special place in our hearts as a cherished memory.

Wundervolle stilvolle Villa

Alles außergewöhnlich: Sehr nette Vermieterin, die vorab und während der Mietzeit erreichbar für Fragen ist und wertvolle Tipps gibt. Sehr hochwertig und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Villa mit grandiosem Blick aufs Meer und die Amalfiküste mit Minori und Ravello. Riesiger Zitronengarten, große Liegewiese, Grillplatz, mehrere Sonnen- und Schattenterrassen … Einfach traumhaft!

Villa Scarlato has been in the family from the 1930s, when it was first purchased as a family summer residence. After a complete renovation, our great-grand father loved to spend here the entire summer season and other holidays during the year. Guests, relatives and friends were always welcome and happily enjoyed the delights of the house and the enchantment of the surrounding nature. We now want to share its unique beauty with travellers from all over the world.
