Brumbys-High Country Chalet

Brumby's chalet is located in Drovers Lane, Dinner Plain. Walking distance to the beginners ski run, and snow park along with the restaurants and shops. Brumby's is suitable for large groups or a couple of families. With Mt Hotham only 14 km away perfect for the skiers and snow boarders and of course cross country skiers. And during the summer activities the tracks and trails are open for motor bike riding, 4wd, mountain biking and fishing. Dinner Plain has fantastic walks from easy to hard, you just never know what you'll see on these tracks. Free wifi available.

Brilliant Brumbys

We loved this place, so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, so we’ll stocked. There was so much wood for the fire which we had going for the 3 days. The house was so warm Drying room was amazing so each day our gear was warm and dry. We cooked and enjoyed meals at home. Everyone had so much space It was a home away from home for us, thank you for providing such a great accommodation.

Staying in the snow

The accommodation and location of this property were excellent. However there were a few issues: the front steps had no lighting and were very slippery.; the bathrooms were old and the edges of the tiles around the bath were moldy. The house needs a good dust and there was no internet. This was very inconvenient as all mountain services are online and the phones had no data. I would not pay this amount of money again for that accommodation. On the positive side the kitchen was well provisioned, the heating was good and the amount of bedding was good for us.many thanks. Fantastic and very comfortable accommodation. Highly recommend the property and the property management service. We had a broken element on the hot water service and let Josie and her team know. They organised a repair within a couple of hours. Excellent service.

This is a wonderful chalet for our group of nine people. The living areas were spacious, the kitchen was well equipped, the cleanliness and presentation of the property was excellent. Josie, the property manager, made contact prior to ourselves arriving and all queries were readily answered. Highly recommend.

Winter Getaway

We had a lovely time staying at Brumby’s. The place was clean and spacious. They were lots of board games and movies to entertain the kids and adults. Heater was working really well so it was nice and comfy in the inside. Josie was also very accommodating in answering all my queries. Would be happy to recommend this place.

Homely with everything we needed

We had a fabulous time. The house was clean, good quality linen and an array of additional extras to make our stay comfy. The heater worked beautifully and we were warm (even hot) all weekend. Josie was fantastic to deal with and even helped get our bogged car out of the snow. My only negative comment is that there were no tissues. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

What a great house, with a lovely inviting feeling and everything you could need

The house was in great condition and had all the required comforts. The heating and fireplace were very effective and the house stayed toasty warm despite the snow outside. The space and layout was fantastic and really great for families. Josie was great to deal with and very accommodating. We'll definitely be looking to come and stay again.
