The open-plan living area boasts a fully equipped galley kitchen with suspended concrete benches and custom cabinetry, alongside a striking Norfolk pine dining table. Lounge in style on the antique cane daybed, adorned with a hand-woven wool rug, or step outside onto the expansive north-facing deck. Surrounded by a lush tropical oasis alive with vibrant birdlife, the deck is a haven of serenity, featuring a luxurious Brazilian double hammock—perfect for soaking up the sunshine or swaying gently to the ocean breeze.

Beautiful break away from the bush

This property is packed with comfort and quirky aesthetics. Added extras in the kitchen a welcome surprise. Nice and quiet yet still able to hear the rolling waves. Lovely gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Beach Haven Tropicana. The apartment is very well located in a quiet little town near its Emerald Beach. Very well equipped, the apartment is very bright and tastefully decorated. The owner Leesa is very available and was a great help in solving some small inconveniences. Thanks.

A good holiday too far for a disabled to walk to beach

The unit was very comfortable and fashionable. There was no microwave and the DVD player would not work. I am disabled with a walker but could not walk up and down hill to beach.

Perfect for 2-4 people. Gorgeous indoor and outdoor space especially large deck. Quiet, private and peaceful. Wheelchair access a bit difficult on driveway but inside premise was perfect. Thanks Leesa. We will suggest this place for a larger family holidays for sure sure using both premises for a larger group.

This place is beautiful

Stayed 2 days during bad weather yet were perfectly happy in this amazingly stylish and well-equipped apartment. No views, but the fabulous coastal headland walking trails are a five minute walk away and there are several local eating options just as close.

We are Mark and Leesa, your hosts. The Beach Havens - Haven Tropicana and Haven Oceana are our creations. We’re designer builders, artists, sculptors, stylists, producers, project managers and jewellers.

The Beach Havens was designed and hand built by Mark including all cast concrete cabinetry, indoor and outdoor tables, swinging day beds, chinese screens etc etc. I manage the interiors

Together now for 30+ years sharing 5 children. We’re also the proud Noni and Poppy to six glorious grandson’s and one precious granddaughter.

Via work and leisure we’ve travelled far and wide and there are some truly amazing places out there in this small planet of ours. But we have not yet found anywhere we love more than this part of north coast NSW. We live nearby in another of our hand built creations.

We love creating with our hands, pottering in our gardens, exploring our exquisite part of coastline and hinterland, and spending time with our family and friends. We like to keep things simple. As Michael Leunig says “love one another, and you will be happy. It’s as simple and difficult as that”.
