This large Queen Size Ensuite Bedroom features private access to the sunny verandah where guests can sit in the swing chair and soak up the peace & tranquility of the surrounding pastures.

This queen size room provided a spacious hideaway. With its four poster bed, woolen and electric under-blanket and dual weight doona & feather pillows you will be assured of a comfortable & restful stay.

A double lounge in the bedrooms bay window provides a private reading spot with views to the Huon River.

We provide a single trundle bed for an additional person or cot for an infant.

The property also provides access to comforable living areas including the reading room, fire places and lounge/ TV room.

A continental breakfast is included and can be made to meet your specific dietary requirements.

Charming hideaway

Lovely rural b&b by the Huon. Spacious rooms and generous shared spaces. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves for our one night stay, so had the run of the place including a bbq and full kitchen. Nice breakfast fixings with some ideas to take home. Host very friendly and helpful.

What a great place to stay. Comfortable, friendly, excellent food and amenities. I would strongly recommend Wattle Grove for anyone who wants peace and an interesting setting. Forget one night - stay for two or longer and feel refreshed😀

Amazing location and host

Beautiful location, the area was secluded with plenty of local swimming spots for summer. The house was amazing with multiple decks to take in the view and scenery. The host was very attentive but left us alone to do our own thing. Would highly recommend.

Robbie & Jillaine moved to Wattle Grove in 2014 bringing their sailing boat with them. They love growing organic vegetables and hobby farming. We've seen most corners of Tassie and we're happy to point you in the right direction for your ongoing travels.

Wattle Grove homestead is close to Cygnet, the Hartz Mountains, Tahune air walk, cafes, markets and craft shops. We're only an hour from Hobart however you'll feel a thousand miles from the big smoke.
