This quaint beach house easily accommodated us, 4 adults, in 3 rooms with queen sized beds. The house has fabulous views of the white, sandy beach, which is accessible via a short walk down the street. We drove to nearby towns of Wynyard, Stanley and Smithton whilst basing ourselves at beautful, serene Boat Harbour Beach. The local surfside beach cafe has wonderful food and coffee - a perfect start to the day or lunch. Nights are blissfully quiet, except for the sounds of the sea and the house is fully equipped for self catered evening meals. We spent 2 nights here and glad we did!
Magnificent views and plenty of space for three couples. Great array of condiments and complimentary snacks. I do agree with a previous review that the bunk bed was difficult to get out of, most likely good for kids. The downstairs bedroom does not have a blackout blind, that could be a problem for many. The well loved lounge suite is remedied by the many cushions. The restaurant close by had delicious meals.

Not what was expected.
Description and Photos deceptive, not “beachside”- on other side of main road up steep hill, 5 to 10 min walk to get down to street above beach to walkway down to beach. 15-20 walk to cafe downhill . Few flyscreens, fresh air comes with bugs. All windows and doors dirty, hard to open and need repairing. Front large sliding door will not close and leaves a gap for bugs and cold air. Lounge and chairs appalling holes in support under seats, no support, provided cushions only marginally help, had to get folding camp chairs to sit comfortably in lounge room. You’re a business, get new furniture, these are from the eighties! Ridiculous dim lights in lounge, sit in darkness, had to get every lamp in house together to read at nighttime. No blinds in front lounge window or dining, sun blazes in with no chance to moderate this. Beds comfy, but so high this 5ft 6 inch woman had to jump to get in them. Well equipped kitchen. Great hot water and showers.
Situated a few minutes from the beach the house was perfect for the 6 of us (4 Adults and 2 kids). Spotlessly clean and with everything you could think of (and a bunch of things we didn't think of!) this is a great place to use as a base to explore the North West and make the most of the very pretty beach at Boat Harbour
Boat Harbour is stunning. House is close to the beach but a short walk - note it’s not waterfront. Great amenities, very clean and lovely touches. We had a lovely family stay for 3 nights.
What a beautiful property to stay in for our week at Boat Harbour Beach. A fantastic spot overlooking the beach, and it really didn't matter what the weather was like when you gave a view like that! Highly recommend for an extended stay.
