Mirrabook Cottage is located 17km west of Coonabarabran township. Close to Coonabarabran and close to the majestic Warrumbungle National Park, our accommodation is perfect for couples and families. Located on a rural property, Mirrabook Cottage is a world away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Enjoy the peaceful night sky, clean fresh air, and a quiet glass of wine on the deck.

The cottage is a separate cabin from the main house, with separate entrance, ensuring maximum privacy.
Our kitchen is fully self-contained, perfect for making your favourite gourmet meals.
Baby items such as portacot, high chair and baby bath available upon request.
Additional floor mattress can be provided for extra persons upon request at additional cost.
Sorry no pets.

The property owners are available at any time to answer questions or provide local information. We endeavour to make your stay as smooth as possible. The property owners live onsite in a separate home.

A great stay in a convenient location

The cottage is located in a quiet and peaceful location on the road between Coonabarabran and Warrumbungles National Park, so very close to all the major walks. The cottage is well appointed and cosy. Thanks Kelly and Wes, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Wonderful stay!

We spend a couple of nights here to see the dark sky reserve and had a fantastic stay. The house was clean, tidy, and warm!! We had a lovely time sitting outside and looking at the stars - it really felt like home.

Beautiful Property in a Perfect Location

Stayed for 4 nights with myself and three children 10 and under. Went stargazing, watched the kangaroos, did a campfire, cooked our own meal a few timesFinally got those kids away from the screens for an extended period and a wonderful time was had by all.The house itself is in great condition and was clean, tidy and well equipped. Well worth the stay!

Fantastic cottage near the warrumbungles

We had a lovely 5-night stay in Kelly's cottage. The location was perfect for us, close to all the walks with great star gazing at night and kangaroo spotting. It was super quiet and peaceful. The cottage was very well set up with everything we needed, it was clean and modern. Would love to stay again.

We loved our stay at the cottage. A step.away from everything to enjoy nature and it's beauty. The house is very cosy, comfortable with everything we needed. The star gazing at night is like nothing else. Nice and close to the Warrumbungles walks and very close to an amazing lookout. We will definitely be back!

Ladies Road Trip

After a long day on the road, this Cottage was just what we needed. So peaceful and quiet with wildlife hopping by and some friendly cattle checking us out on the other side of the fence. Everything from crockery to super warm doonas and white fluffy towels - couldn’t fault a thing. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one.

A great base for Warrumbungles visit

Beautiful outlook, lovely accommodation and considerate hosts who went out of their way to ensure our stay went ahead after we were caught up and delayed in the mid north NSW flooding event. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, nicely decorated and well equipped, all of which added to our stay. Enjoyed walks in the Warrumbungles and to the Sandstone caves and visit to Coonabarabran shops. Missed out on a formal Stargazing event but enjoyed the vista of stars from the cottage verandah instead. Thank you for a relaxing and memorable stay.
