We loved every minute we spent at the property. It is equipped with plenty of entertainment to accommodate all the age groups. Family -friendly and very clean pleace. We will be looking forward to visit again. This was a well-spent Christmas holiday for our whole family.
A great place to stay. Lots of space inside and out, a comfortable feel and surrounded by farm animals and not another person in sight. The house has everything you could want - really relaxing and enjoyable.
A fantastic property and great host.
Our family had an amazing experience at the farm. The kids in particular loved the entire experience of staying on a farm. A very nice and large house with all features you could need. Kids played on the playground and trampoline most afternoons while the adults relaxed inside and watched on.
Responsive and helpful host who got back to us quickly whenever we had any questions.
We would definitely stay here again.
Family friendly farm stay that felt like a home away from home
A kid’s paradise, they absolutely loved collecting eggs from the chickens. Great location and the house contained everything we needed or could want. The host is very personable and welcoming, we provided feedback on the house improvements which he advised are planned to occur. Thanks for bringing the extra firewood and sorry we didn’t get to use it in the end.
Thanks Daniel for letting us stay at Jackaleah! The boys had a ball meeting the cattle, sheep, horses, chickens and riding their bikes.
A great place and so peaceful, will look great when the verandah is complete which will allow some outside cover..
Thanks again Darren, Genine, Mitch, Luke and Cooper.

Pleasure to host these guest and great to see the kids enjoying the many activities on the farm. The verandahs will be finished next couple of weeks so by the time you return you can sit outdoors undercover. Jackaleah Farm Stay.
It was great plenty of room close to wineries. 15 mins into wangaratta.
Peaceful, great area would recommend this to families.
We will be back again

A comfortable, spacious, well-appointed, generous place to stay
Our group of 8 adults felt very relaxed and comfortable in Daniel’s lovely home. Nice to hang out with the animals! We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, the great sound system, COMFY lounges, roomy bedrooms and the stunning location. Handy to Brown Bros and easy maxitaxi trip down to Pizzini Winery for their luncheon. And Milawa Hotel does EXCELLENT, generous pub food - Sarah the barmaid and all the staff were very welcoming.
Finishing the verandah will make it perfect.
Will definitely recommend Jackaleah to any friends coming down this way. And thanks for the chocolate cake!

Needs improvement and attention to detail but has potential
It was a good design and location but felt the unfinished verandah was unsafe and there was no handrail for the interior staircase
Attention needs to be given to housekeeping overall and bed linen was dirty and needed to be replaced by renters.
Ants were found in one bedroom, kitchen and dining area.
It was confronting to find personal items in bedrooms/bathrooms
It was a nice touch to find a homemade cake on arrival

It is a shame Mirella and her friends were not able to enjoy their stay. This is always of utmost importance to me.
She is the only guest that has be unappreciative of this beautiful home after being made available for 2 years for others to enjoy and has had now almost 100 groups of guest through it.
It is not true to suggest the linen was unclean. This guest cited a hair found on a sheet to be the reason. All linen is washed every time and the house is very clean and new.
There are no ants or vermin of any kind in this home.
It is made perfectly clear in the advertising that the verandahs are yet to be finished to give this beautiful home a designated outdoor area. Since then all the roof has been fitted and it is only the deck now to be laid. I have been upfront they are under construction and but the time most of you read this it will be complete.
Personal items mentioned by this guest was one clean sock the cleaner had't put away in my son's locked set of drawers. Hardly a pair of dirty socks as the guest claims.
While I welcome constructive suggestions Mirelle and her friends are not suited to the share economy. I wish them all the best but book elsewhere if in the area again and save this gem for those who appreciate it.

Relaxing farmstsy
Jackaleah is a comfortable garmstay property that was enjoyed by all in our family group. The beds were very comfortable, the house was clean and the sheep was friendly. There were plenty of extras provided; fresh eggs from the hens, and a delicious welcoming chocolate cake.
