Candlagan Cottage - Mossy Point

Candlagan Cottage is a lovely renovated 1950's beach house that backs onto Candlagan Creek. It is a leisurely 600 metre stroll to the beautiful North Broulee Beach and 500 metres to the famous Mossy Point Cafe. This secluded three bedroom cottage set amongst the gum trees, features an open plan kitchen/dining/living area. It has high end kitchen appliances, including a gas cook top and a Nespresso coffee machine and all the kitchen utensils needed for cooking up a storm.

The cottage has free Wi-Fi and Foxtel satellite with movies, sport and kids package. CromCast is also available. There are games, books and dvds to help you relax.

The cottage comfortably sleeps six adults in a bed configuration of one king, one queen and two single beds. On request, the two single beds can be joined together to make another king bed. All linen, except beach towels, is provided.

The cottage features a large timber deck looking out to Candlagan Creek. The deck has an amazing outdoor shower, BBQ, outdoor lounge and dining table and chairs.

The dog friendly yard is securely fenced. Pets are welcome outside and in the laundry. The three closest beaches all allow dogs and there is an off-leash area at South Broulee Beach.

The property is non-smoking.

This holiday house is perfect, a little walk to the beach and bar/cafe, just enough to work up an eppetite! Outdoor shower a super treat and kitchen well equipped. Just one toilet reminded us how lucky we are to have 2 at home 😂 thanks also for letting us use your surfboards, the kids loved that.

Wonderful property

We had a wonderful stay at Cathryn and David's house in Mossy Point! Everything was perfect for what we were looking for. A few minutes walk to the beach, cafes, brewery etc. The house was super clean and has everything you need plus more. Check in was really easy and the communication and instructions to the house was excellent. We took our 2 dogs, the yard is big and very secure The dog friendly beach close by is a huge bonus too! Thanks again. We can highly recommend this property and hope to be back sometime soon.

Delightful cottage and very restful stay

We enjoyed a thoroughly relaxing week at Candlagan Cottage and for the first time we able to take out dogs to the coast which was a bonus. The cottage was immaculate, extremely clean and the inclusions were terrific. The beds were very comfortable and it was great not to have to take linen. The outdoor shower was brilliant while the outdoor lounge was extremely well used by humans and our dogs (the latter without the cushions!) The kitchen was extremely well stocked with utensils etc and plenty of cutlery and crockery. As I has to work a little while down the coast the internet was excellent and not at all slow and Foxtel was also enjoyed. Whilst we didn't utilise many of the outdoor activities provided, we did take the kayak out a few times and both our kids and the dogs enjoyed their times on Candlagan Creek. Finally Cathryn was extremely responsive and easy to deal. So all in all 5 stars from us and we will be back!
