Awesome getaway
I stayed at the lovely cabin on Robs property a few weeks ago. It was so nice and clean and was safe for a person traveling solo. Rob was very responsive when I had a question and there was a local gentleman available for support in the event something came up. I loved his place! Thank you

Magical riverfront place
even better than the photos! Beautiful property and comfortable home! Nice kitchen and comfy bed. Just felt very comfortable and going outside to watch the sunsets and see the geese was so fun! Not sure if they rent the other building on the property but if so it would be a great place to rent both for a big family event! The pool looked great. Close to the freeway which was nice because we were on a road trip. An overall good stay and I would stay again.

We have enjoyed this opportunity of being able to manage this Riverside Homestays Property and host the wonderful guests who come here. Allison and I have been living and working in the Pacific Islands for 30+ years and recently moved to Northern California to be close to family. Our ministry activities have allowed us to travel so many wonderful places in the world and we prefer to stay in private homes to better experience the local culture. We have a little black pug named Bugg.

Why they chose this property

There is nothing like living on the Sacramento River. Its so very life-giving and refreshing. Whether you stay overnight or a week or more, you will enjoy the serenity and peace here. Unlike a hotel, this is a private getaway that is safe and secluded. We hope you can come and enjoy it as much as we do. We live on site and often hosts guests in the main house too. In the heat of the Summer you can enjoy the pool. Our new hot tub is provides a wonderfully relaxing and therapeutic experience.

What makes this property unique

This property is actually animal friendly. We have nearly an acre of land on this amazing waterfront property. There is plenty of shade to relax outside and enjoy the river or cool off in the pool or soak in the wonderfully therapeutic salt Caldera Spa
