Newly Remodeled Front/Hall Bath and Master Bath 2024
Escape from work, home, and headaches to a beautiful 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 bath remodeled Galveston cottage with all the great comforts of home! Private master suite with outside deck and pool access. Sorry, it is not a heated pool.
Enjoy a brief walk to the seawall and you will find the groomed beach, Pleasure Pier, restaurants, bars, retail stores, and many other fun activities for the entire family. Approximately 2 miles to the strand where you can enjoy great dining and shopping! The trolley is now operating and will provide transportation to many areas of the island. Our home will accommodate up to 8 people without feeling crowded. We have a king-sized bed in the master, a queen bed in the front bedroom, and a bunk room with 3 twin beds. A twin "Murphy" bed in the dining room. There is a tub/shower in the master bathroom and a large shower in the second bathroom.
Enjoy free high-speed Wi-Fi during your stay! We have a 60" Smart TV with streaming Netflix, Pandora, and other on-demand services in the living room. There is a large HD Smart TV in the master and a gaming TV in the bunk room.
Parking for the home will be in the long narrow driveway along the side of the house. Also, there is parking along the street with no permit required.
Key-less entry into the home, tank-less hot water heater (never run out of hot water!), front-load W/D, Ninja blender, games, covered wood deck with gas grill, and completely private backyard!

Possible fees each will be charged at the time of booking or just after. Nightly rental fee Cleaning Fee - $175 State and City Hotel Taxes of 15% Total. HomeAway collects both as a separate charge on your quote. A non-refundable pet fee of $75 for the first pet, $100 for 2. IF you bring a pet, and we have a 2 pet maximum. Just select the Pet option when booking for 1 pet, otherwise please let us know and we can invoice you for your pets. A VRBO service fee. This is a percentage of your rental fee set by VRBO. Guests will purchase insurance for the home to cover damages. The cost is $79
The gas grill is located at the bottom of the deck. Please clean it after each use. This will help housekeeping, but more importantly will allow the next guest to be ready to grill when they arrive, as for you. IF you run out of propane please let Richard know. We do try to have an extra on hand at the home, however, we can NOT guarantee this.
The A/C unit....With the high humidity we get here during the summer months, if the temp on the thermostat is set to 71 or below, the unit will freeze. Please do not go below 71. With the ceiling fans running and the temp at 72, the house is wonderfully cool.
Please note that on certain days, the pool company will come into the driveway gate to service the pool. It is usually in the morning, about 9 am. Also, housekeeping could show up at 10 am on departure days, especially if another guest is checking in that afternoon. As a courtesy to our neighbors, we cannot allow prom parties, graduation parties, or young spring breakers. You must be 25 years of age to reserve the home.
To decrease litter on the beach and protect marine life, the City of Galveston has implemented a City Ordinance (No 19-017 Secs 8-27) that states all items left on the beach after sunset will be discarded. The Galveston Park Board strictly enforces the ordinance.
Winter Guests are most welcome.
During Hurricane Season....You will only receive a full refund if there is a named Category 1 or higher named storm in the Gulf of Mexico and it is directed at Galveston.
After a deposit is made, you will receive a Pre-Arrival Letter with much more information about the home. Especially how to gain access.

If you must cancel, we ask that you do so at least 30 days before your arrival date to receive a full refund.

The location was convenient to beach and restaurants and entertainment. Loved having a pool on site that was clean and outdoor space well kept. Kitchen was well stocked and bathrooms very nice.
Loved the property! The pool was everything. We liked the location in the historic district. Perhaps add suction grab bars in the big bathroom. Richard was the best!
This house has so much character, was very clean and the kitchen had absolutely everything you would need. We would definitely stay here again! The pool and back deck area was perfect!
The house was clean and well appointed. We loved the decor, pool, comfortable surroundings and quick walk to seawall and restaurants. Not to mention, it's only a few minutes away from the strand, pleasure pier and other entertainment. Our family highly recommends this wonderful vacation rental.

Nice location in the heart of Galveston.
Beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable home with lots of historical character in the heart of Galveston. Great and caring customer service!
We enjoyed the rental property & loved the pool! The home is beautiful & welcoming & was lovely to come back to at the end of the day. Very cute, friendly neighborhood!

Great ownership, newly remodeled, beautiful house, and great location! Just an overall amazing experience!
This house was our first purchase in Galveston! It desperately needed some TLC and extra renovation. We turned this original 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath into a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom! It turned into a GREAT and ADORABLE beach cottage home, and we love it! Now, in 2020 we have added a covered deck, a private swimming pool, new furniture and a new gas grill. We truly hope you will love and enjoy our property as much as we do. Since this home, we have purchased 2 additional properties.
