What I love about this home
Great views of wildlife, including visiting BIG HORN SHEEP in the backyard. Lake has migrating birds, including WILD SWANS. My outdoor pets include the local hummingbirds, finches, doves, and catfish that start swirling in the lake when they see my patio door open. At PGA West, you can be young and challenge the world-class golf courses, or just hike the neighborhood. It's a gated community where golf carts are as common as cars.

This Home is a very comfortable place to stay while you're exploring the Coachella Valley or attending the Coachella Music and Arts Festival, Desert Trip, HITS Horse Show, Tennis Events, Polo Games, and Golf Tournaments. Some of the best dining in the valley is just a short drive away. Old Town La Quinta is also close by. There are many miles of bike and walking trails available if that is an attractive activity for you.

Upon arriving for a 2 week stay, we were shocked by the smell inside the house (old, musty) as well as the condition of the linens, towels, and bedding. The towels were frayed and decades old. The bedding is also very dated. The leasing agent responded with new towels. The tile floors were filthy and so after a trip to buy cleaning supplies (which are NOT supplied) I proceeded to clean the kitchen, bathrooms and floors. The condo is set up for 6 people and yet there were only 4 cereal bowls, and 2 coffee mugs. Another call to the leasing agent, and they sent 6 additional mugs. The view is nice. The property is located in a gated community and was advertised as luxury. Not so much! As I am the first reviewer for this property and we spent a small fortune to rent it, I cannot recommend it. Be wary of VRBO listings with no reviews. I logged a complaint case with VRBO to which they have not responded. I also lodged a formal written complaint with the leasing/management company. No response. I would not stay here again.
