Our Escape at Rye - Modern Beachouse (free WiFi)

Enjoy a relaxing holiday retreat in a modern beach-house nestled in a quiet street only 10 minutes’ walk from our favourite Rye beach – Tyrone Foreshore. This architecturally designed house has 3 levels and caters for large family groups with ease. Teenagers and kids love the retreat on the top floor with private balcony in the tree-tops while the children like the large and secure backyard with swings and playground, nestled in the trees.

The house easily accommodates 14 guests across 4 generous-sized bedrooms and two bathrooms:
Bedroom 1 (upper level) two bunk beds, one trundler, one queen day-bed: sleeps 7
Bedroom 2 (middle level) one queen bed; sleeps 2
Bedroom 3 (lower level) one queen bed; sleeps 2
Bedroom 4 (lower level) one queen bed, and one single bed; sleeps 3

The house is fully self-contained with a large fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, and an outdoor dining area with a large BBQ. Air-conditioning is available in every bedroom, and ducted heating for year-round comfort. Linen and towels are provided.

Families will enjoy the space and relaxation of a fully contained house:

The House Of Stairs

This property has a lot and I mean a lot of stairs. If I had my time over again I would have paid more attention to this as my husband has a lot of trouble walking and the stairs were a nightmare for him. We had a couple of issues but contacted the owner and let him know about them. If you are able bodied and don't mind stairs this is a great place.

Our stay was relaxing, a much need break and to be near the sea, just perfect- All bedrooms are very large - top level has enormous bedroom with stairs up to lop level - perfectly sunny spot to relax - Well recommended.

A week in Rye

Large property with all ,a family such as ours , needs. It’s a challenge for those with mobility issues as the property is built on a slope and internally there are several stairs involved, otherwise all good.

We stayed here to complete the Coastrek walk. Having 2 bathrooms always key. One of the bedrooms seems to have a possum in the walls but other than that the house was perfect!

Quiet and comfortable Stay

This gem is located perfectly in the heart of Rye in a quiet location. Ample linen and towels and enough bedding to sleep 12 people. Fantastic kitchen amenities, wifi and Netflix which was great for the kids. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Andrew was a very nice and accomodating host to deal with. Price was excellent for the location, quality of beach house and the peak time we came for the 12 of us. Will definitely consider coming back and we highly recommend.

Fantastic for a large family group. Great seperate areas for everyone to have their own space. Kitchen well equipped with all you could need for a large family. Great, safe backyard with swing and monkey bars as well as beautiful shady area for the grown ups. Everything was tidy and neat when we arrived and we really enjoyed our stay.

Great until it wasnt

It was great. It had lots of beds, all the towels and blankets, cups plates forks and all that. Even condiments and vegemite which is a great bonus. But after leaving we were accused of trashing the place even though we'd cleaned top to bottom and had already paid an extra $150 for some old wrinkled sheets. Felt like a scam. Extra charge dispute still underway. Fortunately we have reliable evidence so we'll see. Buyer Beware.
