Situated in a quiet and private garden setting adjacent to the National Park with direct access to beautiful Koonya Ocean Beach Sorrento (5 mins walk and no roads to cross), this much sought after location is on the Narrowest part of the Mornington Peninsula with only 1.5 km separating ocean and bay beaches.....

The circa 1960 3-bedroom cottage boasts polished floors, gas heating, O.F.P., TV, DVD, WM, Fridge, MW, sundeck, BBQ, carport, accommodating up to 6 people.

Short distance to SORRENTO PORTSEA and BLAIRGOWRIE SHOPPING CENTRE Yacht Clubs, Golf Courses, Wineries, Hotsprings, Sorrento- Queenscliff ferry, surfing, diving and hotels, with bus to Frankston Station.

Koonya cottage is a gem of a place! It had everything we needed for our 5 night getaway. It was very neat, tidy and clean, the beds were comfortable and there was even a seperate space for the kids to play. The best part is the location, with only a few minutes walk to Koonya beach. Raymond was a lovely host and we would definitely be staying there again.

Lovely cottage close to the back beach, central to Sorrento Sailing Coûta boat club and the high street. Well equipped with interior decs that bring a smile to your face. Very spacious. A warm welcome from our host with easy & flexible check in and check out. Will stay again!

Comfortable getaway..good location.a bit quirky....we enjoyed the front verandah, BBQ and garden, the short walk to the beach. Unusual floor plan works for a family, but lack a little privacy, for older couples.

Unpretentious beach house

Great holiday house with lovely owners. It's not five-star but it's perfectly comfortable and full of charm. It's in a great location too. A beautiful, wild surf beach with rockpools is just five minutes walk away.

Kooky 70,s style Beach Shack,,Good location to back beach, although Koonya not an ideal swimming spot,, For the price, i would suggest owner supply all bedding, a couple of quality products such as coffee pot /fresh coffee/salt / pepper and decent cooking oil,,, all else good

Great place for a beach weekend

Enjoyed our too short time on the Peninsula. Thank you Ray for your communication and allowing the late check out. Great location for us -a short walk to the beach and short drive into Sorrento. My friend enjoyed playing the records and I enjoyed sitting out the front on the porch / in the private garden. The echidna we encountered on our walk to the beach was a highlight.

Quirky but relaxing

This house is quirky with lots of artisitc touches. It is large with 3 bedrooms and very clean. The televisions could do with an update. It is a short walk to the stunning Koonya beach. Hosts extremely friendly and helpful Thank you!

Quirky cottage

clean and comfortable, good beds and good shower. Main criticism would be the overuse of perfume sticks through the house. Maybe trying to hide a smell, but we took them all out and it smelt fine.
