Your Private Piece of Paradise

Why Rosemary Hoskins chose Narooma
Rosemary and Alan decided to make a sea change from the city 15 years ago and after 5 years searching, found "Bangalay", a totally unique property on the shores of the pristine Wagonga Inlet at Narooma on the NSW Far South Coast. There was an existing guest cottage on the property, and when designing their new house, they made sure to devote a large space for people to visit while living an entirely private and separate existence.
What makes this Apartment unique
There are no visible signs of civilisation from the property. With 15 acres of beautiful parkland (towering spotted gums, just bird sounds and the daily tinkle of the oyster boats as they come to tend their oysters), it looks over the water to the Bodalla State Forest, and has bush on all sides. Beautifully protected from the coastal winds, watching kangaroos graze, feeing the numerous exotic birdlife, or taking an evening drink on the small private beach (with a fishing line in one hand!), Bangalay is the perfect place for a get-away holiday.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location
Nice little place by the lake with ample space for two. Owners Rosemary and Alan were very friendly and helpful and their kelpie Bébé was just adorable. We really enjoyed our stay at Bangalay. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for somewhere private and tranquil to stay.
It was a real pleasure to welcome you both at our beautiful Bangalay, and it’s great to know you relished the peace and beauty here while not to far from your surf time
Amazing views, modern accommodation and great host. Thanks for the wonderful 3 nights.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bangalay. Everything we needed to fully unwind was waiting for us. It was lovely to walk around this beautiful bush setting. Thank you Rosemary for being a wonderful host.
Thanks so much for your very kind words. It was a delight to meet you both, and to know that you found Bangalay quite special. The fact that I rescued the home baked bread from disaster was a bonus. I do hope we can welcome you both again when you need some R &R
We had a great short stay at Bangalay 664
The property is away from the Narooma centre but easy to find. We had a great stay for 2 nights and were well taken care by Rosemary and Bebe. The house is right in front of the river which is a beautiful sight.
Thanks so much for your very kind comments. It was a real pleasure to meet you both and feel that you were able to share a little piece of our Paradise. Bébé, who would really like to be working sheep like most Kelpies, really enjoyed showing off to you on her high hurdles
