Cascades - Couples Sanctuary

Cascades cottage is a separate, fully self contained, spacious one bedroom timber cottage. It is bright, clean and airy and has a private veranda with expansive views of the surrounding Promised Land and World Heritage mountains. The cottage shares five acres, with the timber house we live in, but is completely independent from our house. It has a very comfortable queen bed with quality linens and is best suited for two people. However, there is a comfortable sofa in the lounge room if you have one extra to squeeze in.
The cottage has a flat screen TV, DVD player, a vast number of DVDs, ceiling fans, combustion stove, electric towel rail and a large powerful hot shower.
The fully equiped kitchen with cooktop, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee plunger and blender. It is well stocked with essentials like olive oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, milk, and we are always happy to supply anything you may need if we have it. Quality toiletries are also provided.
As much as possible, everything we provide for you is locally produced and organically grown. You are welcome to take fruit and herbs from our garden and orchard.
We're a ten minute drive from Bellingen on an all tarred road and beautiful walks around the Promised Land area are on our doorstep.
The property is a bird watchers paradise. We have an abundance of native birds including Regent Bower Birds, Black Cockatoos, Cat Birds, wrens, finches and parrots. Every morning is welcomed by clans of Kookaburras, Magpies and Whip birds. Over sixty varieties have been spotted. We also have occasional visits from Bandicoots, Pademelons and Quails.
This is a peaceful and restful location but also close to many amenities.

No pets allowed.
We can arrange pick up from the airport.
No minimum stay required, except for school holidays.
