Lovely place to stay.

Emma was very helpful and great to deal with. The unit was immaculate and well set out. Close to town and the river. Very dog friendly. Will reccomend Alambie to our friends.

Good location away from the crowd

Good location if you were looking for something within walking distant but not right in the middle of town. The front fence like other's have said is only 1m at the gate facing the road, so if your dog may jump the fence the other cottages maybe a better option. Cottage as is in the photos, it is a little dusty in places you are not actively looking. There's different dog hair on the cushions, just something to be aware of. Comes with a fresh bottle of local olive oil and there's salt and pepper in the pantry. Overall, will stay again.

Great Location, Lovely Villa for a couple, NOT very dog friendly.

I would recommend this Villa (1) for a couple ( who can cope with stairs as bedroom is up and bathroom is down) It is well set out, very comfortable furniture and bed/bedding (advertised oversized King Bed is 2 king singles joined) We were there in the heat and Air con was very efficient , quiet and upstairs mezzanine has a fan also. Location is away from noise of town Park . Short walk to river ( in both directions) and to shops . Our only disappointment was that it is not really dog friendly. Inside ok but outside the tiny courtyard is all stones and all the plants are fenced off. The patio is not undercover and next to reverse cycle air con so noise/fan that dogs steer clear off and no matter the temp, the dogs cannot be outside . Fence is only hip height/1mt. Not being able to leave dogs there outside was not great as we wanted to go to the National Parks so the Villa book suggested a Dog Day care at Porepunkah. Not Allambies fault but I don't recommend leaving your dogs here ever. We were very reluctant to leave them when we saw the place but it was only for one day so we did. One day there and both dogs have Kennel cough on our return home . In summary, Villa 1 is lovely , highly recommend, my Husband and I would stay again without hesitation, just not with dogs.
