The property was very comfortable, really comfy mattresses and warm beds. Very clean, lovely views from the varandah.
We slept very well, felt very welcome & Bernadine went out of her way to help us which was much appreciated.
The property was spotlessly clean with everything we needed. The kids loved the animals and spent hours outside enjoying the country life. Bernadine was very helpful and gave great advice on the area.
We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was a huge house. Communication with the owners was efficient. It was nice to feed the animals with their children.
We would definitely recommend this property to other families as it was nice to have the property to ourselves.
This was a great getaway for us three of different ages. Our elderly aunt loved the alpacas, feeding them was the highlight of her stay . We loved the house , the kitchen had everything we needed, the verandah was well used with great views. The location was perfect for us. It was a very relaxing stay and we had access to the owners if needed. They were very accommodating without being intrusive.
A lovely home full of rustic charm with fantastic views and lots of close up contact with the local wildlife.
We enjoyed a very relaxing stay watching birds, sheep, alpacas and a kangaroo from the extensive verandah. Feeding the alpacas was great fun, they are amusing creatures.
There are plenty of walks and sights to visit in the area, we enjoyed just driving around looking at the scenery.
The house was comfortable and well equipped and the owners were very friendly and responded promptly to our queries.
There were several cafes and restaurants in the area so eating out is not an issue.
All in all a very enjoyable experience.
We were very fortunate to find this place as we were a group about to walk the Bibbulmun Trail either side of Balingup and needed a place for 9-10 people; hard to find which isn’t separate chalets. The house was a perfect location with a fantastic view. The number of bedrooms perfect; although we needed some single beds and the house only had the 5 Queen sized beds, Stuart our host was fantastic in finding some alternative bedding for us.(In fact the house is now waiting on some single beds to arrive). The kitchen was fairly well stocked, and the 2 bathrooms quite adequate. The outside fire was used at least twice as we sat around relaxing, experiencing the sunset view while discussing the day that was.And the pool table inside was the setting for a doubles championship over 3 nights! The visit to feed the alpacas on Stuart’s property next door was an extra bonus. Stuart’s hand’s on approach to making sure everything was as perfect as possible made a positive difference to our stay
Lovely timber house with 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms, great views over valley, beautiful shaded verandahs, big lovely living area, older kitchen but well equipped, potbelly stove, aircon, everything you need. Hosts were excellent, great to communicate with, generous and helpful. Balingup is a quaint, pretty and small country town with great walks.
Amazing stay.Property was fantastic.Owners couldn't have done anymore to make our stay any more perfect.Kids loved feeding the animals.Would totally recommend.
The house was beautifully layed out and attractively appointed. The massive front verandah with a view over the valley was a treat. Our charming hosts, Bernadine and Stuart, made us feel comfortable and at home. Feeding the alpacas and the chickens was fun and fascinating for the young and old.
The view is beautiful from the house. I'm tempted to try this place when the hills are green, would be breathtaking!
Feeding Alpacas is fun specially at sunset. The house has lots of little things to feel like home and the hosts are very friendly. Would recommend it speciaaly for big groups.
We had a very peaceful and relaxing break and enjoyed interacting with the farm animals. The home is large and well equipped and we also enjoyed the warm open fire in the evenings
The house is very comfortable, the views are sensational and the owners have covered just about anything you would need to make your stay a pleasant one. Highly recommended.

The house has a lovely setting facing north overlooking a valley. It was extremely well kept. Very homely and comfortable. A lovely place to stay. The very friendly hosts live on the property.

Beautiful house with a great balcony. Welcoming and homely. Heaps of space and relaxing.
We had a lovely stay. It was very relaxing and tranquil. Great activity packs for the kids, the alpacas were fun (even though we were spat on... very entertaining!) We also loved the worm farm and pet frogs. The treasure hunt was great too. Clean and lots of extras eg high chair, porta cot and shower products.
We will be back!
