About Cody Robison
We are Cody and Jess Robison; welcome to our cabin. When we first started dating we came to Gatlinburg as a little getaway and fell in love with the mountains and all the area had to offer. After several more trips to Gatlinburg and staying in cabins we decided we wanted to have our own home away from home. We live in a small town about 20 minutes North of Indianapolis. With alot of flat land and cornfields at home the mountains are such a nice change of scenery. We love to be outdoors and to hike and explore. We have a 11 year old son, 2 dogs and 8 chickens that make up our little family. Cody owns and operates a HVAC business and Jess runs her own women's clothing business. Together we have several residential rental properties in Indiana as well as 2 cabins in Gatlinburg TN. We love to spend time with family and friends. Each spring and fall we take a large group of friends down to our cabins and have a great time. During the summer we spend every possible weekend at Dale Hollow Lake boating and camping.

Why Cody Robison chose Gatlinburg
We fell madly in love with everything about this cabin. The long drive way up to the cabin is amazing. We see some sort of wild life every time. This cabin is perfectly tucked away into the trees and the Smoky Mountain National Park. It is an authentic hand hewn log cabin that was relocated and added onto. This is such a romantic cabin made for 2. There is a 2 way real wood fire place that opens to the living area and the bedroom. The private deck has a lovely area for dinning, relaxing or enjoying the hot tub in total seclusion. There is a huge picture window that can be seen from the bed. We love to wake up and look through the window and feel like you are floating in the trees. We got engaged in this cabin and it will forever be a special place for us. We hope it will be for you too.
What makes this Cabin unique
This is a real deal authentic hand hewn log cabin that was built in the early 1900's. It has since been moved to the current location and added onto to make it the perfect mix of old meets new. The seclusion and scenery of this cabin is just spectacular.

Bear Naked Black Bear Area
We stayed from 10/8-10/15/2019 for our honeymoon. This cabin is cozy, romantic, secluded, and full of black bears. We had bears visit and walk through every day we were there. It was spectacular to see them in the wild. We had an amazing stay and are already talking about a return trip to this cabin soon. We loved everything about this cabin and it's really close to anywhere you'd want to visit. Five stars all the way!! This is a rustic cabin, location, location, location. Highly recommend!!!
Need New Mattress
Overall very satisfied, insect problem needs some attention but biggest improvement would be to get a new mattress for the bed!. Great location , very private and close to the park
This is my husband’s and I 2nd stay here. We love everything about this cabin. We both like to hike and the GSMNP is literally right there. It is very secluded and peaceful. The cabin is equipped with everything we need for our stay. We are looking forward to already going back and will definitely stay here again.
Only one word needed
I liked the property just fine. I would replace the couch and chair if it were mine. The lighting was definitely an issue. The kitchen light and bathroom lighting was far too dim.
Yes furniture was needed as guest before you had an accident with damaging the sofa. We just were booked solid so didnt have a chance for delivery of new stuff. The very next guest was a repeat guest of 4 times and had asked them if they would be ok with delivery of new furniture and they agreed. So we do have brand new living room furniture. Guest insurance paid for a very nice leather love seat and oversized chair. Lots of comfort in the new chairs. And I agree with lighting. We will be upgrading to can lights and LEDs this winter when we slow down. We take feedback seriously and love to hear from guest opinions good or bad so we can always be improving for the next guest. I think 3 stars is a little rough over lighting but it is what is. Never have heard a guest complain about lights but like I mentioned we agree and will definitely upgrade that ASAP.
Had a marvelous time. The cabin was very quaint and cozy. Was a little dim for are liking. Besides t
We got to see a bear the first night we were there. Right in the driveway. It was awesome. The only thing I would change is the lights in the cabin. It was very dim for are liking.
