If you're looking for a spacious home, in a quiet country setting, this is a great option for you.
We had our family of 15, ages 3 mo to 60 years, stay for five nights, and we had a terrific time. Outdoors, we played in the yard, walked the fields and the woods, grilled & dined on the deck, sat around the fire pit, and watched the sun rise from the hot tub. Indoors, we shared meals, did crafts, played games, and stayed up late.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were very accommodating (the downstairs bedrooms do all share one bath). The kitchen is open, well-stocked, and there are plenty of tables and chairs to support a large group.
The home owner was very accessible and responsive via text, before, during, and after our stay.
Lexington and Frankfort are both within about an hour's drive, giving you fun day trip options. We went to the Kentucky Horse Park, the Buffalo Trace Distillery, and the Capitol Building.
(Note: once you leave the highway, the roads to the property begin to narrow ... four lanes become two, two lanes become windy & hilly with no shoulders, two lanes turn into one as you get w/in five miles of the house ... so, try to arrive while you have still have daylight. And drive safely.)
Highly recommend this property, as we plan to return in the future.
