Nice property, just a few issues

My friends and I enjoyed the Mid-City District home, but just had a few issues. The unit was very clean and modern, which was a major plus. These are the minor issues we noticed: 1) There was limited parking on the street. 2) The couch in the living room was not supportive to sit on. When we opened it for my friends to sleep on the sofa bed, they found it to be very flimsy and one of the springs that supported the base was not attached. When I contacted the host, she did not offer any concern. 3) Since the unit accommodated 12, it would have been nice to have more seating outside, since there was not much in the common areas. Some of the members in our party had to sit on the floor to socialize together. Other than the above concerns, we had a great time and my friends that did get a bed slept well,

Beautiful interior, not safe neighborhood

Interior and comfort of house was perfect. Nice upgrades and plenty of room for our family of 5. Neighborhood the house is in is very rough and not great for a family with kids. “Street parking” means pulling up nearly on the sidewalk. New Orleans jail is backed up to Lopez street. Many of our Uber/Lyft drivers were surprised where we were staying and confirmed it was a rough area. We got in town around 2:00 and I made the mistake of not reading that check in time was 3:00. We showed up and saw the house completely not ready. I asked the owner/manager about it and she first was apologetic but then got rude when she realized we were early. We vacated and waited in the car for a bit and no one came by to clean up. We decided to drive around to see the city and got back at 3:00 and saw the cleaning ladies still in there cleaning. So even if we would have shown up on time the house would not have been ready. Overall, not impressed and definitely would not stay there again or refer anyone.

Better than expected

Had an amazing experience while here. Everything was new inside of the home. Better than I expected. Close location to everything. Location was nothing to fear. Will definitely use this location again.
