A great Porifera for a large group/family
We had a great time staying at the villa and would highly recommend it. It’s well set up for a large group (we were 4 families), we loved both the pools, pool table, table tennis, gym and darts - there was always something to do and to keep everyone entertained. The outdoor table/bbq/kitchen area is fantastic!
The property is about a 40 min walk from the Kaštel stari beach and restaurants and Ubers are hard to book for short distances so we’d really recommend car hire. Although we did manage to find some reliable taxi firms that you could pre-book.
We would highly recommend the tour company recommended by the villa owners - they organised a brilliant speed boat/day trip for us all to brac and some of the other islands, which we absolutely loved! If you get a chance to do a full day in Brac, then do it, we didn’t have time but would have loved to spend more time there - it’s very pretty.
Just a couple of things to point out for awareness: the villa is v close to a noisy and busy train track, and the local church bells ring frequently and loudly, so take ear plugs!
Trogir is a lovely place to visit but busy and would be hard to park there so a taxi is easier.
The beaches are all v pretty, but are shingle, so bring sea shoes (or you can buy them at Trogir market).
We wouldn’t recommend the large Lidl store - the local ones to the villa are much smaller but really well stocked with everything you need (15 min walk down the hill from the villa).
