Behind the house, right through a marsh, goes a wooden pathway to the tower on the shore of a lake famous for its abundance of different bird species.

The closest grocery store is located 1 km from the house towards the city centre, opposite the hotel Meri, work from 9 to 21. A supermarket and lots of shops are located in the old city centre. Large supermarkets and shopping centres are located at the Northern entrance of the city, on the way to the ferry terminal in Kuivastu.
