The house was in a perfect location for hiking and sightseeing. We had a wonderful stay here. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend!
We greatly appreciate all the efforts to make sure we had a good stay. Super cute place. Loved the book with recommendations on local activities and food - which was spot on. Would highly recommend staying here.
We quite enjoyed our stay at this rental. Very clean, organized and comfortable. Well-kept and nicely decorated, just as in the photos and description. Beautiful patio and back yard garden. Next time we are visiting in the area we would definitely come back if it is available.

The hosts were great. The home was super comfortable and it turned out to be no more than a hotel if not cheaper.
Property has everything needed to stay a week or more, if you’re not trying to do much cooking. The backyard is very pretty and laundry was appreciated.
Clean, well-lit, comfortable home! Highly recommend. The small touches were great - sufficient dishes and towels for a family's use (not stingy like some other places we have stayed at), space heaters and fans available. Would definitely stay here again!!
We loved our stay. Everything we needed was available. It was easy for us to travel to the Columbia River Gorge and Mt Hood.
The bed was very comfortable. In unit laundry is always a plus.
Beautiful and relaxing location to get away from the high traffic city life. The property was better than I expected. From the decoration to comfortable beds; our vacation was awesome!

Response from owner: "Ana, thank you for your 5-star review. We love that your Dad's 101 Birthday Celebration involved a stay with us in Boring, Oregon. We sure hope you will come back and stay again with us in the future!"
The property is exactly as it shows in the listing. The area is quiet and quaint, but close enough to enjoy local sites like Multnomah Falls. We also enjoyed the local hospitality and wonderful meals at nearby restaurants.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Boring, and will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.
The first day they were able to get us checked in early which was a huge blessing!! The space was clean and well-designed. It suited our needs perfectly! The street was quiet and the surrounding area beautiful with all the farms. It was a great location with easy travel to Gresham and Portland. The main contacts were very responsive and super nice. Would definitely stay here again!
Great house for a small gathering of friends. It did get a little warm at night and we could not find a thermostat. Otherwise, a very cute and comfortable home.
Well stocked and clean. Beautiful back yard was in full bloom in May. The kitchen has a portable cooktop to cook upon. Works great for small meal prep but a tad challenging if you are prepping a full meal. Property owner was great with communication. Property is very clean. In a quiet neighborhood.

Response from owner: "Thank you for the 5 stars, Renee! We enjoyed having you as a guest!"
Beautiful property and home. Quiet yet close to Sandy and stores. It may seem odd that I rated everything 5's, and now mention certain things that would have made our stay absolutely perfect. First, I rate homes by their shower heads. The shower is very small and cramped with a rain-type shower head. Just barely enough room for one person. Also, the kitchen had everything necessary to prepare meals; yet, every appliance was portable. Great floor plan otherwise. Very comfortable beds. Very nice and roomy refer and easy to use washers. Well worth the stay. Thank you for having us.
Place was very cozy and comfortable. Extremely clean. Host kept us up to date with any information needed. Check in and check out was a breeze. Would recommend this place for a getaway.
A very comfortable and high quality accommodation. Everything was perfect! Highly recommended for access to Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Hood, Portland, and PDX. Excellent hosts.
We loved our stay! The unit was very nice and updated and had plenty of room. They had a stash of games to play that we took advantage of. We went to a concert at edgefield mcmenamins which was only about 15 minutes away. The next day we drove to Mount Hood, only about 37 minutes, to go hiking and exploring. We found plenty of food, coffee shops, and food trucks just minutes from the vrbo. Its in a wonderful location and our host, Nicole was extremely lovely. We saw her once when we first got there and said hi.

Fair
Expectations were higher based on listing pictures and description. Backyard was very beautiful, but neighborhood was lacking. Mostly farm fields. No majestic view of Mt. Hood or picturesque landscape.
No WiFi throughout stay. Furnishings/amenities outdated: beds, shower fixtures. Needed a step stool to access/operate dryer. While a stove was not advertised, it was really needed. Garbage receptacles not adequate for long stay. No temperature control for guests.

Response from VrboOwner on 12 May 2022
Hi Drew, we're sorry if this house did not exceed your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner, who assured us that they were in contact with you throughout your stay but were not notified of most of these concerns.
- The listing includes a map so that guests can see the approximate location before booking. As the caption states, the photos of Mt. Hood are from a nearby viewpoint.
- The owner confirmed that the Wifi was working, just slow. When you notified them, they contacted their provider, who replaced the tower repeater the next morning. Recent guests have not reported any issues.
- The house has only been used as a rental since March, so all furniture and furnishings are new.
- There are small trash cans in every room, and the large curbside receptacle is just outside if guests need to dispose of bigger items.
Thanks for your feedback. We are confident that future travelers will continue to enjoy fantastic visits here!

Average Lodging
Fair to average lodging experience. Nicole was the only one to communicate with us. Hosts were not eager to associate with us. More interested in their toys. Beds need replacing, WiFi did not work most of trip, no stove, cannot control AC, Had to use a ladder for dryer, shower head/ faucet need replacing, need larger garbage receptacles to accommodate garbage, kitchen small. Upon first morning, the male Richards woke me up with their talking outside my window at 645 am. No respect for guests.
Overall, fair to average rating.
