THE MADISON HOUSE #2 - HISTORIC AREA in ST CHARLES

This townhouse is located in the Historic District of St. Charles MO. House is located a few blocks away from Main St, 1/2 mile from Lindenwood University, and 1/2 block from a bar, coffee shop and wine bar! It has been just been renovated and decorated to bring out charm of this 100 year old home. You will have access to the entire townhouse. This townhouse is a little over 1400sqft so there is plenty of room for everyone.

Airport is located 115 minutes away.

This house is located across the street from a school. If you or someone in your group is not able to be in the area of a school you are not going to be allowed to rent this property.

NOT as listed

NO mention of downstairs bathroom in listing: stairs were steep AND crooked; getting downstairs in middle of night very dangerous; dusty and dirty place; very small shower; ceiling fan in one bedroom didn't work; online description should be more detailed esp. about downstairs bathroom!! A few antique pieces did not make up for LACK of decor, rugs, outdated kitchen. My group and I WILL NOT be back!!!

Historic!!!!

The home has large rooms, high ceilings and air conditioning was adequate for the space. It shared a wall and locked doors with another home. Through the vents and walls, way to much detail could be heard from second residence to include conversations, each bathroom use and vomiting. Renovation seems to be still in process. This residence met our needs for this trip but would stay elsewhere in the future.

Surprisingly quiet location

Jus a short 1/2 mile walk from historic St. Charles, this charming duplex is in a very quiet neighborhood. Street parking was plentiful. Small bar and coffee shop right around the corner. Cool split staircase. The shower is located on the first floor (tub upstairs with bedrooms). Window air conditioners in the bedroom did an adequate job of keeping the place cool. Very clean!

Perfect oasis during holiday craziness

We have lots of family in the area so had lots of big family events, this was the perfect quiet, convenient spot for the 4 of us to retreat to. The apartment has everything necessary, our kids loved the games. The host was very flexible with checkout time as we were leaving on Christmas morning - we appreciated a little extra time.
