A little piece of heaven on earth

We stayed here 3 nights for our anniversary. We love Dale Hollow Lake and have camped on the lake for years. This was the first time we've ever rented a house on the lake. We loved the house and the walk-out access to the water. We kayaked around the shoreline during the day and enjoyed the fireplace on the deck at night. Eric was a great host. We will go back for sure.

Great Lake Retreat

This is a really nice, comfortable house with a gently sloping yard down to the shore of Dale Hollow Lake. We sit on the porch and watched the dozens of Goldfinch flit from trees to lawn and back. Perfect Getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at this place!! It was everything we’d hoped for ... quiet seclusion, comfy furniture inside & out, very clean, modern & well equipped! We’ve rented houseboats on beautiful Dale Hollow over the years but didn’t think a place like this existed just a few steps from the waters edge. The beds were comfortable & the showers great! The hot tub at the edge of the deck was a perfect addition giving amazing views of the lake! The owner greeted us at check in & couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. We will definitely be going back here! Thanks Eric!!

WE LOVE THIS LAKE HOUSE!

This was our third time staying here and each time we L O V E it more! We've stayed several places around Dale Hollow, but this one is by far our VERY MOST FAVORITE!! Eric, the owner, is a great guy to deal with. He takes good care of the house and the property - the house is always nice and clean and the yard always well manicured! This place spoils us -- we love being able to have our boat right there just steps away - no driving to a marina or renting a boat slip. Another favorite is that awesome hot tub out on the deck and also the sound system. If you want a vacation where you can truly unwind and getaway from it all - this place is for you. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting Dale Hollow Lake.

Pure Exellence, Beautiful Engaging

Everything was Perfect! Starting with communication with the home owner. We cannot express how amazing and hospitable they are. Once there, the view is breathtaking. The home offers everything needed. Inside and outside. The sound of silence while there was beautiful. We have stayed in several air B&B's, this one overall, owners, home and property compares to none. This is a must visit for anyone and everyone. A great get away for a couple, or a get away for a family with kids. This is a gem, no need to look for anywhere else in the area. Thank you to the owners across the board for everything. We can't wait to visit again.

What an incredible place! Aside from being absolutely spotless, the home’s location is unbeatable. The hosts have gone above and beyond to set clients up for a beautiful, fun stay. From cabinets full of family board games to a basement closet full of kayaks, the fun was endless. Additionally, the location allows for short boat rides to multiple marinas around the lake. Lastly, nothing beats a sunset from the back deck while warming up next to the fire pit. We truly could go on and on about this place. It’s an absolute gem and we hope to visit again soon!

If you're considering this house, let me be the one to tell you that you need to book it! My husband and I brought our two kids (1 and 4yo) and his parents. It was a perfect space for the 6 of us with plenty of room for the kids to play on rainy days and the most PERFECT view of the lake. The water was down the time of year that we went (late Sept) but had it been up I still would have felt very comfortable with the yard and kids playing. The home was spotless clean and truly thought out. The kitchen had all the comforts of home. The weather was gloomy for us many days so the cabinet of games and "new" 'to my kids' toys were such a fun perk. Eric was prompt in his communication and friendly. This place is truly one of a kind and we liked it so much we booked it again the day after we left!

The Lake House on Dale Hollow has been a family vacation home for over 40 years. My sister and I grew up coming to the lake every summer, and the time we spent on Dale Hollow are some of my fondest childhood memories.
I live in Nashville with my wife Shauna, and two small boys Joseph and Adam. We still come out to the lake every chance we get, and I now get to watch my sons make their own childhood memories at the best place on earth!
