Eagle View has unbelievable panoramic mountain views from this Post & Beam home in heart of Sapphire Valley. At nearly 4,000 feet in elevation atop Dobson Mountain, with huge sunset views behind Chimneytop, Rock, Sheep Cliff, Shortoff & many more mountains. This large family home is perfect for a mountain retreat. There is an attached carport for covered entry. The main level has a king master bedroom suite, powder room, open kitchen, dining area that seats 10+ and a living room with a large TV. Beautiful woodwork with exposed cathedral ceilings is seen throughout the home. The upper level has two bedrooms and a bathroom. The first has a full bed, the second has two twin beds. The loft also has a pool table. The spiral staircase leads to the lower level family room with a queen bedroom and bathroom. There are big decks on all levels. This house has Wi-Fi and DirecTV.

This home comes with the option to purchase Sapphire Valley Resort amenities. These amenities are not at the home. They are in a separate drivable location. You may join for $5/day or $25/week per person. Your amenity card will allow access to 2 outdoor swimming pools, one indoor heated pool, 2 hot tubs, wet sauna, exercise room, arcade, ping pong, outdoor miniature golf, horseshoes, basketball courts, tennis/pickleball courts, playground, track, picnic tables, community center, organized excursions to Cherokee and the Biltmore House in Asheville, a 9 hole (par 3) golf course, Zip-Lining, High Ropes Course, Fairfield Lake boating amenities and discounts on ski lift tickets and ski equipment rentals during the winter season.

Your reservation includes a damage protection plan. The damage protection plan is $50, and it covers up to $3,000 in damages. In lieu of purchasing the damage protection plan, guests have the option to choose a refundable security deposit. If you would like to pay a refundable security deposit, please contact us. The security deposit is $500 and will be administered subject to the NC Tenant Security Deposit Act.

Mountain Getaway

We had a fantastic week at Eagle View! The hone was spacious yet comfortable with the most amazing view. It was just what we needed to recharge our batteries amd have a much needed respite. The management company did a great job getting us there amd were very responsive when we had questions. We even extended our stay a night. We would highly recommend. Tammie W.

Thanksgiving stay

Nice property and very comfortable. One major problem was the sliding doors. Could only use one of 3. All were very hard to open/close and one was totally off the track.

Great House with a Spectacular View

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home as we explored in the area before and after nearby sleepaway camp drop offs. The layout worked great for two families of 4, followed by 3 couples. The deck and its stunning view overlooking the mountains and valley was hard to top. We enjoyed many meals outside and some fabulous sunsets. It is conveniently located near area attractions: golf courses, hikes, waterfalls, restaurants, and the towns of Cashiers and Highlands. We had a few questions during our stay and found the property manager super prompt and responsive. I highly recommend this place to spend a summer vacation in Sapphire, NC.

Perfect Location, Stunning View

This was an excellent property for our family mountain trip. The view is stunning-I don't think it can get much better! The cabin is a short drive off of the main highway that runs through Sapphire/Cashiers/Highlands, so you're not too far from any of the neighboring towns. The house itself is great-it's exactly as pictured in photos. I would have preferred a more detailed cleaning prior to our arrival (floors didn't appear to be vacuumed, cleaning under the beds should have happened more routinely), and that is truly my only small complaint. We had a wonderful trip and I would love to return!

Great time! Great home! Great View!

We went with our 2 sons and their girlfriends. The home was perfect for 3 couples but could easily have accommodated 4. The home was beautiful & the view was amazing! We would definitely come back! Make sure you pick up the keys at the office Before 5pm because they close at 5pm. We arrived at 5:30pm. There is a cabinet outside the office that was suppose to have a packet with the keys. It was not there and I had to call the mgmnt company. I was able to reach someone quickly and he came right back in 15 minutes to give us the keys.

Good stay

Overall our stay was pleasant. It was very close to the ski resort and slopes which was the purpose for our visit. The upstairs bathroom lights did not work. They would come on but go off within seconds. We kept having to flip the breaker for that bathroom. Also, the hot water heater is not adequate for the amount of bathrooms in the house. We had to alternate showers throughout the day. Other than that, the experience was fairly good. For people bringing pets, there’s VERY limited space to walk your dogs.

Amazing view! Home needs updates.

The house location is wonderful! Overall a great house but definitely needs some updates. If small updates were made this house would be perfect! Kitchen definitely has room for improvement. The bathroom light upstairs did not work for two days. Property management was finally able to get someone to come out. Not their fault. Just availability of an electrician. Also, the heat on the dryer didn’t work. The property management company was great. I think they should encourage the owner to make some updates.

Million Dollar View but house just adequate.

Without question, the view from this property is breathtaking and can be enjoyed from multiple porches. That alone w made our trip. As others have mentioned, the house could be better furnished especially the kitchen. The cookware was practically unusable and we were thankful that we brought our own frying pan and electric griddle. The flatware is very mix and match. The coffee cups and plates are limited number which required running the dishwasher after every meal. Two other issues worth mentioning: the house is very dark especially the master bath and kitchen. Bring a travel makeup mirror if good light is something you rely on. Also, as mentioned previously there are no sidewalks to walk a dog so while likely common on that area, be aware that you will be walking on curvy roads without a shoulder. Of the positive side, the house was very clean and the main TV was excellent with multiple streaming options. The rental company was easy to communicate with. Just count on a 30 min round trip to pick up and drop off your keys.

A great vacation house with views

Fabulous house with great views. Everyone had space to gather together and have their own privacy too. Great place to relax together and enjoy what the mountains have to offer. Only negative: lighting was a bit dim for playing cards.

Stunning chalet with amazing views

This place was perfect. Large home, yet still cozy. The views are to die for. I do recommend that the owner update their pots and pans, as they were all in really rough shape. There was also on trash can on the lower level for the bathroom or wet bar area.
