Had a blast!

I must admit, visiting Florida in the summer wasn’t at the top of my family holiday destinations. It was a special visit to see my brother who is a recently retired Air Force chief master sergeant. The owner was very responsive, when I had to contact him twice … once was my fault for not viewing the check-in details and again for a faulty AC issue. The house is exactly as described, my family and I throughly enjoyed our stay. The pool and outdoor tv definitely was used, we entertained our neighbors with karaoke 😃. It is located in the heart of everything, and is very well designed so you don’t feel cramped. If it wasn’t for the heat… living in the northeast my entire life, this would definitely be a top 5 in my family holiday destinations. I would absolutely recommend this place!

Graduation Family Getaway

Overall the house was OK for a quick trip. We had a party of 12, I asked the host prior to booking for a earlier check in as our flight came in early initially he didn’t respond. I followed up the day before arrival and he advised I couldn’t check in early. I had to contact host the day before for arrival instructions as I didn’t receive them. Upon reading the instructions there was a lot of hidden cost for things, such as key cards for access to the community where the property is located $20 for each car. The delivery of the instructions was rude such as “this is not a hotel we don’t provide towels and wash clothes “ so I took my family to Walmart not too far from the property to purchase these items only for the host to file a claim that bath towels were damaged and need to be replaced. The housekeeper left notes with an envelope asking for a tip when we cleaned the house prior to our departure. The water in the showers stopped getting hot after so many showers were taken. The showers made some crazy noises and the shower liners were mildewed. I went and bought cleaner from Walmart. There was a lot of things I can go on about but I didn’t make a big deal, because my family was there to make sure I had the perfect graduation getaway and the issues was resolvable. I choose this house because it was suited for adults, didn’t have any children decor. I would not recommend this house for any other reason. The fact the host is trying to put in an insurance claim is ridiculous.

KCC Tribe vacation 2023

Three families from KCC church in Virginia Beach visiting FL for Spring Break. It was an amazing stay and a big part of that was due to the house we rented. Large enough to accommodate everyone and allowed the kids to play outside in the pool.
