This close-in NORTH ARLINGTON location (less than 5 miles from the Washington Monument) allows you to avoid the traffic! Capital Hill, the Smithsonians, Georgetown, Old Town Alexandria, Crystal City, the Pentagon, Washington National Airport (DCA), and other sought after destinations. All are within an easy and beautiful drive along the GW Parkway (or bike route). Ballston, Clarendon, Courthouse, and Roslyn stations are conveniently close for catching the Metro (less than 3mi, about $10 by Uber) for shopping and for dining. Marymount University, the Washington Golf & Country Club, and the banks of the Potomac River are a pleasant walk along the bike path behind the house.
Walk to Marymount University on the beautiful creekside path through the wooded park right behind the backyard gate! Or head the other way to where the creek tumbled into the majestic Potomac River! The path is part of Arlington County's renowned bike path network, so whether you're a serious or recreational biker there are plenty of destinations within reach.
