You'll have to come back and try the fishing again, and if you'd like, we can refer you to a good guide. Go out once with the guide then catch them on your own! We have had a road guy out recently and will be making improvements in the month of April then again in the fall. Thanks for the heads up on the chairs kept out on the dock, we'll get those replaced. We hope you'll consider Water's Edge again should you return to Beaver Lake. Thanks again and stay healthy!" Best, the Evolve Team

Hi Becky, we know how frustrating it is when you can’t reach someone during your stay, and we apologize that Evolve’s communication fell short. We are increasing our staffing to make sure that we can respond more quickly to guests moving forward. The owner asked us to pass this along: "Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we appreciate your feedback! Always feel free to call me direct with any questions or anything. Thank you for letting us know about the cleaning, I am sorry it wasn't up to par for you. We will definitely address that and hope it will be perfect for your next stay. I am glad you enjoyed the peace and quiet there that we covet. We have Verizon and do have service there. Thanks again!" Thanks for your insight!

Thank you, Kim, for taking the time to leave a review. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and found it comfortable. Thanks again for the nice review and we hope you’ll return on your next trip to Beaver Lake! - The Homeowners

Hi Kimberly, The owner wanted to pass this along: "Thank you for your review and for choosing Water's Edge! I'm glad you enjoyed it. We require that guests have AWD or 4WD vehicles as getting back up the gravel driveway through the one steep area on a turn can be difficult. We regularly maintain and grade the road; it is not rutted out and does not require extra clearance. There is one area that is narrow due to the trees and extra-wide vehicles should take it slow, but there are not 100' drop-offs on both sides. It is best to arrive during the day, but we also have reflectors up along the road for those who have to arrive at night. We too recommend guests stop at the grocery store (and for firewood if desired) on their way in as it is 40 minutes from the house, and we have two refrigerator/freezers at the house to make stocking up easier. So once you get there, you can enjoy the amazing peace and quiet Water's Edge affords! We hope you return - we feel it is well worth the driveway!"

Hi Tracy, thank you for your review. We wanted to pass along the following feedback from the homeowners: "Thank you for the review and affirming the need for the AWD/4WD for the one steep section getting back up the gravel road/driveway. Glad you were able to enjoy even the rainy day! Thank you for choosing Water's Edge!"

Hi Deborah, Evolve is so sorry to hear that we did not respond to your emails promptly. Our volume is much higher due to the vacation frenzy after the Covid-19 restrictions were lifted. We take full responsibility though and we are hiring additional employees, increasing efficiency, and working additional hours to do better for our customers. We hope you are staying safe and well. The owners also would like to say hello: "We are so happy you loved your vacation! Call us any time in the future if you have any questions and we do hope you'll return! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review...and remember: the lake is always calling!"

Response from owner: "Glad you enjoyed your time there! Thanks again for choosing Water's Edge!"
