A pretty good stay
The villa is quite nice, but lacking some appliances and amenities that you often find in other Bali villas. That being said I think it’s better for a shorter stay of max 2 weeks. I stayed for a month and it was a bit long especially if you’re not used to an outdoor living room. This place attracts quite a few critters, but thankfully less mosquitoes than many Bali villas. The villa could use a deep clean of the roofs and other nooks as I had a few nests in the roofs. The location isn’t excellent to be honest, the construction next door is a bit of a nightmare as they are often working 7 days a week up to 10 hours a day, the roosters start going at 4am sometimes and the stray dogs can make noise all night sometimes. I understand this is not in anyone’s control, but I must be honest to mention. Also, I must mention that the internet is not great unless you’re in the living room where the modem is, so beware digital nomads. Had it not been lockdown I’d be fine to go to co-working spaces, but since we were confined having internet issues was problematic. Overall I will say the villa is fine, great pool, lovely staff; especially David who cleaned and helped me get settled. David is very kind and a generous. The price is simply too high, especially for the lockdown period.
