Great for big group
This is the second year we stayed here for our annual ladies trip to Norris. Love the house and location. Easy to get up/down to the lake (paved steps) and nice quiet spot to relax and float on the water but close to several marinas for boating. Plenty of space, beds, bathrooms for 10 adults. Will likely book for a third year.
A little confusing at first only because of Wi-Fi in the area ! This place was better than the description. Plenty of space and we had 5 adults and 2 teenage boys. The property manager and owner were very responsive and courteous. Hope to be back again!
Loved the nature views and that the house is on the lake. Layout of the house is lovely. I loved that everyone was able to get together but had their own space. Peaceful area and steps away from the lake. Overall house was clean but a few webs here and there, only major issue was not enough toilet paper considering how many people staying in the house. We requested more, understood it was a holiday but there should have been more than 1 roll per bathroom. Soap was also very limited and didn’t hold up well per use. We ended up having to travel 35 min. To purchase additional toilet paper and soap for dishes. Otherwise, everything was fine. Yes I would recommend staying here and have plans to return, but advise bringing your own basic necessities.
Property was very nice but Not cleaned very well. Without going into a lot of detail, found food under the bed. Could tell the toilets were not cleaned when the seats were lifted. Had to clean front load washer seal that had obviously never been cleaned out. Serious problem with ants coming out of kitchen sink ( this was after we wiped down all counters and sealed all our food in tubs) we had to stuff paper towels in drain to keep them out! We absolutely loved the house but didn’t feel very clean in it. I know it’s a rental and used often, but some simple cleaning could have made all of the difference. All of the Neighbors were awesome. Location is ideal. Plenty of room and deck space. We really enjoyed it. Maybe just need to get a better cleaning service.

Hi Sandra, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our properties seriously. We followed up with the homeowners, who wanted to share this response: Thank you very much for your feedback. We were surprised by the issues with cleanliness; we typically have very positive comments. We have communicated this concern with our cleaning company, and they assure us they will not let this happen again. We also have a quarterly pest control service that will also come out as requested. We hope you choose to stay with us again, and if you ever have any issues, we can work to resolve them during your stay. Thank you.
Inside house was clean, pics made it seem a little bigger in the living space, beds were fair on comfort level. Cleanliness of outdoor space could use more attention. Cove and location on the lake was great. Communication with contact/owner for a question was quick and helpful! Descriptions and reviews were spot on! Definitely worth the price!

Cozy Lake Home
Our family of eight enjoyed our stay in LaFollette at this cozy lake home. The house was clean and linens were provided. There were several updates in the home which we were surprised to see, so the pictures on the site don't reflect those updates. The beds were comfortable. However, we did have to do some adjusting to our original sleeping arrangements as the sleeper sofa was out of commission from the prior tenants use. (No fault of the owners by any means, as they did let us know the day before we arrived).
On the second day of our stay, we noticed several ants coming into the home. I messaged the owner and the very next day, an exterminator came out to the house. The problem was resolved quickly. We appreciated that tremendously.
The location was fantastic and we enjoyed a lot of time on the dock fishing, swimming and sunbathing. The walk down to the dock was a bit difficult for our elderly parents, but they did manage to go up and down twice during our stay. (I'm not sure that can be avoided in any of the homes on Lake Norris, though).
The deck for the master suite and the main deck for the home were clean and provided both sun and shade depending on the needs of our group. The lower deck could use a good power washing, so we didn't spend any time down there.
No one in our group had cell service during our week stay (though, I personally didn't mind disconnecting for awhile). We did have wifi connection, but it wasn't a strong signal, which proved challenging to my husband who had some work issues that he needed to handle.
Overall, we loved our time together in this cozy lake home. It felt like a home away from home, which is exactly what we were looking for when selecting a vacation spot. The resort itself is nice and part of our group enjoyed two days of golfing and loved the course! (Both are legit golfers, by the way). :)
Thank you again for a being so accommodating and communicating with us before and during our stay!
Property met expectations! Great location and lots of outdoor deck space.

Enjoyed our stay
We had a wonderful time at Norris Lake. I am not one to post negative reviews so these comments are more constructive than negative. Overall, the home was nice and we had a great time! Here were our observations:
1) The photo's make the house appear larger than it actually is. We had 10 people and it was a little tight.
2) The furniture is dated and not super comfortable.
3) The outdoor spaces were not cleaned of debris from trees, spider webs, etc.
4) The outdoor furniture was very dirty and/or broken. We weren't able to use either of the deck spaces which is what initially sold us on this house.
Our stay was at the end of summer so I'm sure some of these things were simply overlooked. We were able to enjoy the lake quite a bit which is what it's all about anyway. :)

Lake house
Great location. House had plenty of room for our entire party. So enjoyed the dock, whether it was for the boats and jet skis, or simply floating off of the dock. Had a couple questions for the owners, and they were very accessible. I was able to get them on the phone when I had any questions. They were great hosts to work with and very much enjoyed their lake house right on Lake Norris.
Everything was great. There was a very strong sewer smell at front of house. May be coming from neighbor above septic system.

Hi Tom, Thanks for your review! The homeowner wanted to let you know that they looked into your feedback: "Thank you very much for your review and feedback. Our neighbor sold his home, and the new owner had the septic tank maintained. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you stay with us again. Thank you!"
This house provided us exactly what we needed for our first trip to Norris Lake. We traveled with 5 teenagers, 3 adults, a boat and a jet ski. The dock was perfect for holding our fishing supplies and water sports accessories. My only disappointment was that you couldn’t see the lake from the house but it just made us spend more time on the dock. Great vacation!
We had a great time. Disappointment with VRVO fees and alignment going through EVOLVE.
The property was great. With no thanks to EVOLVE, we could not get info on property owner until 2 weeks before. We were pulling a boat and had many questions in preparation. Thankfully we made the trip to the property and area on way home from another mini-vacation. Very disappointing.
Property was nice as was having a boat dock. The area is boat busy with close marinas on either side but we found coves and it was nice having marina access. The house accommodated our 11 person family.
We had a wonderful time at this property. The dock sits at the back of a cove and is great for swimming after a day on the lake.
We enjoyed all the deck space and the short walk to the dock!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Coves End. The property was well maintained and exactly as described. The shared dock was easy to access and always had a place for our boat. The owners were easy to contact and replied quickly to any questions. We will definitely visit again!
