great house but A/C and hot tub problems
The house is well suited to large groups with great bedroom/bathroom layouts and open gathering spaces. Kitchen was well stocked but could use more dishtowels and some wine glasses. The towels provided for the bathrooms were thin and small but the beds were very comfortable. We did have trouble with the A/C. It was 96 degrees on the third floor when we arrived and hot air was blowing despite being set on 70 degrees! It wasn't until Tuesday afternoon (following several phone calls and service calls) before all 3 floors had effective A/C. We got a good amount of rain and the already sagging hot tub cover became water logged - difficult to move and impossible to lift back in place. The hot tub was not working when we went to use it Thursday. The pumps were not circulating water, so it looked cloudy and was starting to cool off. Someone came out later that day to fix it but it only worked for a few minutes before turning off again. We were unable to use it for the rest of our visit.
