Amazing location for anything you want to do. Very quiet area, so be respectful when booking. Very unique place to stay, and was very clean upon arrival. The host was very kind and lively! I’d love to book again in the future!
The stay was fantastic. A bit further away from the city center than I liked but it was just steps away from the nearest station which was very convenient. Host was very friendly and accommodating as well.
This property is beautiful, and very conveniently located. It is very close to a train station, and has a nice market just down the street. The host is very kind, and made sure our stay was pleasant, telling us about the area, and answering our questions as they came up. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.
We had a wonderful stay! The place was very nice—clean, comfortable, and exactly as described and just the right amount of quirky. Having a refrigerator and kitchen was very helpful, especially for preparing quick meals and storing snacks. The 7-Eleven and grocery store just a short walk away was also super convenient. The owners were incredibly helpful and kind, always quick to respond and genuinely caring. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Hope to return again soon!
The location is right next to a train station which was perfect for us to get around.
Language barrier was a little tough because we spoke no Japanese but with google translate it was super helpful.
This unique, modern property is ideally located next to a rail station, with an excellent supermarket across the road, a 711 nearby, and several small eateries and bars in the block. Our host was cheery and helpful. We spent several days investigating Tokyo, and couldn't have chosen a better place to base ourselves.
This property was very unique as it did not have a typical kitchen or living room. However with that being said we absolutely loved it. It had a refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven, which was perfect for snacking. The lack of living room was refreshing as it forced us to go out and so the local sights. The location was amazing. Steps away from stores and most importantly the train which enabled us to go almost anywhere in Tokyo in just minutes. If you choose to stay here I highly recommend a 7 minute walk to Kyu-Furukawa Gardens, you will get some amazing pictures. The host was very friendly and kind, he has a very small Izakawa and he serves limited small dishes and drinks right outside the front door. The architecture of the residence is truly amazing, very Japanese. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
The property is very unique and quirky with beautiful architecture. By far the most interesting property I have stayed in. The residence seems to be converted from a restaurant making the functionality of it a little interesting to stay in, but for the price point and uniqueness it is worth it! The property is right off a local JR train station making it super easy to get to most parts of Tokyo. The host was very helpful with whatever questions we had. Once again, great and unique stay for the price point!
We litterly walked out of tge house turned left walked up the steps and were at kai nakazato station. This was fatastic. If youwalkover the bridgeyou were at a 711 and if we walked oacross the street we had a grocery store.
This is a very interesting place. It is a converted restaurant so it is not a traditional home. It is conveniently located next to a train station and a short walk to 7-11 and a laundromat. The futons are upstairs in a loft and there is a shower and bathroom but the sink is the kitchen sink. There is a long bar with a microwave and fridge. Not much room for luggage.
This location is right next to the train station, but very quiet because it is constructed out of concrete, like an industrial look. It’s also across from a small grocery store and near a 24 hour 7-11 store. You really can’t ask for more upon arrival in Tokyo! All the bedrooms are loft style, on the second floor but open to the rest of the apartment. The kitchen had everything you’d probably need for a short stay, but the floor was a little uneven and getting in and out of the kitchen through a narrow staircase with a swing door was not ideal. The air conditioning, shower, and toilet worked excellent. Overall, it was a good deal.
The JR train line is 1-2 stations away. Very convenient for exploring Tokyo locales. It’s very pretty in the room, however, if you’re expecting the western hotel experience you will not find it here. The beds are all upstairs and they are thin futons that lie on the floor. Those who are used to softer beds will need to bring extra padding. Also, the stairs to the second floor are quite steep so those with mobility issues should be aware.Otherwise, the owner is great and easy to work with and if you are just sleeping and not lounging this place is an excellent choice for exploring Tokyo, especially with Akihabara being extremely accessible from Kami-Nakazato station. Highly recommend, but just be aware of the quirks extending beyond the décor. The pictures are absolutely accurate for what you are renting so decide accordingly.
This place is one of a kind. If you are looking for a different place this is it. It is right at the JK line station, so the walk out and more importantly, the evening walk back to bed were very short. Be aware however of a few things. The three rooms are one loft open space with curtains, not actual rooms. Don't expect to find lounging space other than the beds. The washer/dryer is actually a washer with an air dry spin cycle, clothes still need to be hung up to actually dry. The biggest problem is the continuous sewer smell throughout. I was able to find the floor drain and fill it with water to temporarily block out the entry of sewer gas. I attempted to discuss this issue with the host but our language barrier hindered the conversation. The host was very welcoming and pleasant.

It is definitely unique in that it's basically a repurposed restaurant lightly converted into a "house." I personally did not mind that as it was nice to have a sitting area by a table or bar and then beds upstairs. But the upstairs is an open loft so if you're a light sleeper I recommend ear plugs as you could hear anyone nearby easily. While it can sleep 6-7 it would be a lot of people in one space. We were 3 and it was a good amount of space for us and our suitcases. It is very close to the train and grocery/7-11 which was convenient. Highlight for me was the Earthquake Museum around the corner that has an experience where they re-create Japan's biggest earthquakes. There's a lot of good reviews so I mention this knowing I could have caught the host on a bad day but heads up for women - when we arrived later than expected on a Friday night due to travel delays, the host had clearly been drinking. His English was good enough to get by, but he made several comments in Japanese about my breasts while checking in. While I don't speak Japanese, it was not subtle - literally doing an air honk at one point. A friend we were traveling with did speak Japanese and said something after the first offense but it didn't stop him from doing it a second time. Again, hoping this was a fluke, but it was not great as one of my first interactions with a local in Japan. Not to mention, a sad reminder that sexual harassment remains a global issue.

Übernachten in der Bar
Es ist offensichtlich eine ehemalige Bar, oben sind Futons ausgelegt und unten ist eine Dusche eingebaut: ein spezielles Ambiente!
