LOCATION - 2 blocks north of Main Street
HOSTS - Home to yourselves
SLEEPS - Up to 10 people w/ 2 masters; 3 king bedrooms & 1 bedroom w/ 2 queen beds
BATH - 3 baths; All baths have walk-in showers & double sinks. The master also has a small tub, 2 shower heads & 2 toilets.
KITCHEN - Fully-equipped kitchen w/ a regular coffeemaker
BREAKFAST - Coffee and teas are provided. No breakfast is provided.
AMENITIES - Smart TVs w/ basic cable (please bring your own login information if you need access to channels such as ESPN), DVD player, indoor gas fireplaces, game room w/ shuffleboard, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, refrigerator, ice maker & a Smart TV, private backyard w/ outdoor seating, outdoor gas grill, gas firepit, off street parking, quiet street close to Main St, keyless entry

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! We loved the comfort of the home and how close it was to Main Street, while still being tucked away in the peaceful Starlight neighborhood. The rental was beautifully decorated and fit our large family perfectly. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay—it was cozy, convenient, and welcoming in every way.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is located right in the middle of everything making it easy to walk to shopping and the WWIi museum. The neighborhood is very quaint and quiet. All of the rooms were very comfortable with terrific beds! The decor is lovely throughout. We loved the use of the games in the garage but it was hot, even at night, despite a fan and small air conditioner. It was August in Texas!

Best in Fred!

Hands down the best place we've ever stayed in Fredericksburg! Layout is group friendly, while bedrooms and 3 baths offer great privacy. Lots of outdoor space to hangout and we enjoyed the gas fire pit. Super great location to all the fun stuff on Main Street. House was stocked with everything you could need - including cool amenities like ice maker, extra fridge and a big mirror in the oversized main closet. Hope to stay here again!

Girls Trip

We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our small group. Amenities were perfect. Close proximity to town. Property was quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay here again on any future trips to Fredricksburg.

We loved this property on the app, and it exceeded our lofty expectations. From location to decoration to recreation to layout, we loved everything about the place. Comfortably slept 8 adults.

The house was even more than we were expecting! So much room for 6 ladies enjoying a girls trip. We were able to walk to all the shops on main st in 10 minutes or less. We didn’t do any cooking but the kitchen looked well equipped. There was a regular coffee pot we used ( no Keurig in case you are thinking of bringing your own K cups). You don’t need coffee filters ( it has reusable one). There were even a few basic staples in the pantry such as coffee, salt/pepper, artificial sweeteners and more. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces and the games in the garage! There’s even portable heater/ fans if you need them. You do have to park in a gravel type alley behind the house off of Elk st ( there is a small sign to look for in case you are looking for the place to park at night). The host was informative for getting checked in etc. I would definitely recommend!

Another great stay!

This was our second time staying at the fabulous Abendstern house. Freezing temps outside, but the house was warm and inviting when we arrived. Plenty of space for 3 couples to have privacy and ample seating for meals, games, and relaxing. This is our absolute favorite place to stay in Fredericksburg. Exceptional communication from owner with some tips before we arrived. We texted a question Saturday night and had a quick response. It's obvious this is a well cared for property. We'll be back!

Awesome property!

The house was awesome! There were 6 of us adults and we had more than enough room. All of the rooms were large and spacious. It was in mint condition when we arrived. The garage was fun with the ping pong tables, foosball and shuffleboard. Loved the gas firepit in the back yard. Great location just 2 blocks from the main street with all the shops and restaurants. Also just 2 blocks from the World War II Pacific war museum which is a must see. One of the nicest VRBO's we have ever stayed at. Highly recommend.

BEST WEEKEND

I can't say enough good things about this house. 7 of us stayed for a girls trip long weekend. Plenty of space. Beautiful courtyard. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. House was well equipped and beautiful . Beds were incredible with lots of pillows and high end linens. All 7 of us would stay here again and have already recommended to our friends and family.

Excellent Home 2 Blocks From Main Street!

Such a wonderful, very clean, well-appointed home for a long weekend in Fredericksburg! Two master bedrooms with their own bathrooms and 2 more bedrooms sharing a third bathroom. The kitchen and dining area were fully stocked with every pan and utensil one could need! The living room was large, cute and very comfortable. Lots of wine glasses!! It was easy to walk to Main Street instead of trying to find a place to park on Main. And the garage was converted into a wonderful playroom with foosball, ping pong, air hockey and more. The backyard fire pit was lovely and easy to use. Such an excellent , serene place! We will definitely stay there again!

Walkable Main Street Hideaway

Love, love, love Abenstern. This property is close to everything - its in a quiet, lovely neighborhood and most importantly walkable - within a few blocks you are on Main Street visiting the many shops, museums, galleries and eateries, while still "coming back home" to relax, play games and hang out in an open concept home easily accommodating large groups. The yard is amazing - during our stay we were able to adore blue bonnets and other Texas native plants about to bloom. I loved how the house was recessed back - and after a long day, you are greeted with a Hill Country courtyard and outdoor patio (which was too cold for us this time - but will definitely plan to enjoy in a future visit). The bedrooms were huge, beds comfy, it truly is a home away from home. Our family loved the game room - foosball, ping pong, and shuffleboard. Every day ended with playing the games as a family and such wonderful memories were created! The check in was easy and we were warmly greeted via text by the owner. Highly recommend a visit if you want to have that feeling of a true vacation home.

Wonderful place for family

Abendstern was amazing

Our 3 night stay with sister/brother-in-law and friends was fantastic. Location was very close to main street with all the fun activities. House had everything we needed for a great get a way. Inside was well arranged where everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. Enjoyed the multiple games in the garage that was very comfortable.
