Neighborhood
Princes Highway is riddled up and down with fantastic restaurant. 5 mins walk is “Himalaya” which is my favourite nepalese place. Gang Thai is a great Thai restaurant just across the road. The local pub is a bit of a dive however 5 minutes away and 1 stop on the train is “The Rocksia” which is a much better bar. Good for food and drinks, great on a weekend or a public holiday.
Transit
The train station is only 5 minutes walking from the property and will bring you to central station and the city.
The neighbourhood is on a main road so avoid taxis and Uber during peak hour (0700-1000/1500/1845)
Notes
With the main road there can be some noise from the street but not overly excessive.
