Beautiful French Country Home located on 3 acres next to a creek. It is a perfect venue fora wedding. Please message me as different rates apply.It’s approximately 15 miles to the airport and 25 minutes to LSU campus. It’s a 4,100 sq ft home with 6 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths, French Antiques, gourmet kitchen with commercial grade appliances, wood burning fireplace, propane fire pit on the back patio. There is covered covered parking for 2 cars and a great outdoor covered patio. There are a total of 7 beds and 2 queen pillow top blowup mattress to accommodate 18 guests. No more than 18 people at anytime on the property. Pack and play, walker and high chair are also here for your convenience.

Mini vacation

We had a group of 9. We were in town for a week, for a tournament. The house was more than expected. The ladies fell in love with all of it. We had ample room, had everything we needed was easy to find and close to stores and restaurants. Thank you so much. Would recommend over and over again!

Baton Rouge USBC National Unified Bowling Tournament

We truly enjoyed our house in Baton Rouge. The French Country home was just perfect size for our group. We had enough room for everyone to relax and enjoyed the outside and wonderful warm temperatures while we were there for one week. Shannon was great communicating with us if we had any questions. Weekend getaway

We rented the property for a friend’s trip with everyone coming into town. The house was spacious and allowed a great place for us all to get together under one roof. The backyard was large and allowed a place for the kids to play. We would stay there again.

Exactly what we needed!

This house was perfect for our group of friends bowling in the open championship tournament. It was close enough to the bowling alley but far enough away to feel like we were vacationing. The house fit us all comfortably and we had everything we needed, including a giant kitchen so we could gather and enjoy time together. Our host was great at communicating and make sure everything was working and ready for us and so helpful in helping us have a great first experience in Baton Rouge! Thank you for a great experience!

Annual LSU football game

Our group was in town for the LSU football home opener. There were 15 of us and we had plenty of space for everyone. We especially enjoyed hanging out on the back patio. The home was adequately stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. Shannon was a pleasure to work with and we would definitely consider staying at this home again.

LSU best party house!!

Spacious home and great location

Great location and easy travel to LSU campus and Baton Rouge. Owner replied to questions quickly. Great amount of space for visiting indoors and out. Some of the furniture could stand to be replaced… 1 bed very squeaky, formal dining room chairs were unsteady. Lots of spider webs and dusty baseboards could use a good deep cleaning. We enjoyed our time and of course the win over Alabama was icing On the cake!!

I apologize for the spiderwebs and dusty baseboards. My housekeepers daughter got in a bad car accident the day before you were checking in and we usually go in and do a thorough check. As far as the furniture goes, it is a home that is advertised with French antiques. Yes, LSU winning was amazing!

Very Large Gathering Spot

The hostess was very quick to call/text me back in answering my questions. There was plenty of space to gather & to sleep. The fridge is a commercial unit the size of 2 side by sides. This was invaluable for our catering trays to get together with family. The antiques are beautiful, however there was very little comfortable seating. The floor in the entire house is stained concrete. It looks nice, but was very hard on old feet & scary for children playing. Rugs might help. The beds are all antiques and do shake & wobble with anyone that is not a very small stature & were not comfortable. The hostess did have 2 new self inflatable beds delivered the day we arrived, which was helpful with the young in our group to be close to parents. The bedding seemed very dated & seemed like the blankets & comforters were probably not washed very often, so we left them off. The bathrooms had vanities that were very tall. At 5'3", I was really stepping on my tiptoes to reach the basin for brushing my teeth. The kitchen was large with plenty of counter space & pantry space. The kitchen faucet looked nice but the handle kept coming loose. The bedroom that is right inside the back door smelled bad. We couldn't determine what it was, so we kept it closed and did not use it. The washer & dryer work ok but are old & make a loud squeeking noise. The key lockbox was hard to open. The house is on a busy road. Overall the house helped us achieve our goal in visiting our relatives.

Thank you for choosing my home for your stay! I appreciate all of the feedback however have to clear up a few areas the previous guest stated. There are seven separate beds all are on just a metal frame. Only two or on actual wooden bed frames. The vanities are standard countertop height. I’m a contractor so they’re not taller than any other vanity. The blankets were just washed before the guest arrived. The smell off of the carport for the first bedroom and half bath usually comes when a guest flushes non-septic safe items. This will cause a smell as it’s the closest part of the house to the septic tank. There is plenty of comfortable seating and I have never had anyone complain about that in the seven years of hosting. The key lockbox has been on the gate as well for almost 7 years and I haven’t had an issue with that nor the washer and dryer. I’ve also not had anyone complain about the stain concrete floors.
