Beautiful Mountain Condo - Great Views, Central to All Resorts

This charming, one bedroom/one bath Condo is located in the heart of the Colorado Rockies in the beautiful Summit County town of Dillon.

Central to the finest skiing in the United States; 10 minutes to Keystone, 15 to Breckenridge, 20 to Arapahoe Basin, 20 to Copper Mountain and 40 to Vail/Beaver Creek, you won't find a better location for satisfying your craving for powder. Of course, cross country and back country skiing are literally a few minutes away along with snowmobiling and ice skating. Located right on the free bus line so you may not even use your car while you're here!

What about summer and fall activities? Dillon is a paradise with fantastic venues for golf, tennis, fishing in mountain streams, hiking and rafting.

Lake Dillon is a haven for all types of boating and water adventures. There are also cultural activities such as concerts in Dillon Ampitheater, art galleries and film festivals. Next door is Silverthorne with its endless array of shops and Frisco which (in my opinion) is one of the most charming Rocky Mountain towns.

If you do not desire or can not afford slope-side or lake-side lodging then this could be the place for you.
My condo is also 'all-natural'. I use only natural/biodegradable products. That means all sheets and towels are cleaned with hypo-allergenic detergent and the shampoos, soaps and lotions that I provide are all natural. And I also change the duvet cover for every new guest. No comforters from the previous renter.

This one bedroom Condo features a queen-size bed and with the queen-size sofa bed in the living room can comfortably sleep four. The sofa bed has a memory foam mattress and firm decking. Also included is Roku, games and all the amenities you could ask for (it's my vacation getaway too!). Free parking at front door.

The clubhouse has a hot tub and heated pool along with a lounge and large game room to entertain children and adults alike. It also has a coin operated laundry.

NOTE: There is no woodstove in the condo and no BBQ.

Sorry, no pets or smoking. The condo is one floor up, which is the top floor.

Great Condo, Great Deal, Great Owner

Condo has a big kitchen that's well stocked. The owner is thoughtful and left us a bottle of wine and was great at communicating. Perfect location for a summer getaway.

It's always nice to hear that guests enjoyed their vacation at my condo. I try to keep it so that you will not have to worry about anything, and part of that is keeping it clean and having a kitchen that has the same things that you have at home. Nice and spacious

Plenty of room to spend my two week fall (early ski season) trip and well equipped with everything I needed. Plus the bus stop was so convenient that I was able to save some cash on gas and took the bus to the slopes instead of driving. All around a nice moderately priced place to stay.

Thank You! I really like the bus too as parking at the resorts can be "interesting". And in the summer you can put your bike on the bus and take it to places like Copper or Breck and ride back on the pathway. Or take a mountain bike to Breck and ride the amazing trails there.

Perfect location, centrat to everything.

Very nice spot, just as described and fully equipped for cooking. The grill was handy for outdoor meals. A welcoming presentation from Peter made it feel very comfortable & homelike. Would definitely come back!

Cosy & central for skiing

Great location for skiing in both keystone and breckenridge. Condo had everything you needed and was very cosy. Clubhouse swimming pool and hot tub ok, showers and other facilities in clubhouse not great.

Clean, well-located, and owner was gracious and easy to work with

This was a clean, easy-to-access condo. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was fully-stocked. Wifi and television worked well. The owner was easy to work with and provided helpful notes for keys and parking. Will definitely recommend this condo to others visiting the area.

Perfect Ski retreat!!!

I rented the condo for two weeks. It is in a perfect location. You can easily get to Keystone, A Basin, Breckenridge, Vail and Beaver Creek. When not skiing you can go sight seeing. The condo was clean and very well maintained. Kitchen was stocked well to cook at home.

Great location, clean, comfortable and awesome views

We decided to try a condo versus a motel for our annual Summit County ski trip. By far much more room and quieter. The hot tub and sauna a perfect way to end after a day of skiing. Accommodations were very clean and comfortable and hope to use again. Owner was prompt with reply’s for any questions. His personal artwork decor was cool. Exactly what we needed and affordable.

Cute Condo

From the beginning to end, our experience staying at Peter's condo was nothing short of amazing. We had an issue with someone parking in our designated spot and Peter took care of the issue within minutes. We would highly recommend staying here. Plus, the bottle of red wine as a welcome gift after the first day of snowboarding was quite a treat!

Condo in Dillon

Condo has a great location from all the ski resorts. Condo was clean and had everything it needed to make it feel like your own place as everything you needed Peter provided in the condo. Easy to cook, etc. as everything was there. Peter was also very responsive and provided his contact information in case anything was needed.

Excellent value and attentive host!

Lovely space, plenty of room for 2 guests. Nice kitchen with ample cookware and whatnot. Hot tub and club house was really nice, but hours were a bit early (closed at 9 pm, which isn’t under the hosts control but still a bit odd). Overall would highly recommend for skiers/snowboarders on a budget! FYI, if you have more than 2 guests, the last bing room where the pullout couch is doesn’t have any blinds, so bring an eye mask unless you’re an early riser!

Great 1BR/1BA unit convenient to EVERYTHING!

This was our 2nd time staying at Peter's Dillon Valley East unit, and it more than meets our needs. As his is an end-unit opposite of I-70, we don't hear any freeway traffic, and overall, the neighborhood gets pretty quiet in the evenings. The location can't be beat for access to all of Summit County, plus Loveland, which I supposed is technically in Clear Creek County. We mostly skied Keystone which was at most a 10 minute drive. The condo itself: Bed is comfortable, plenty of blankets/pillows, the couches are comfortable, the internet/wi-fi is solid, and the water pressure and hot water are fantastic. We also really like his original artwork! I'm sure we'll be back, as it's one of the best lower priced rentals in the area.

Quiet neighborhood setting

We recently stayed in Peter's condo for 10 days. It is in a great location for anything you would want to do in Summit County. It is about 10 minutes from Keystone, 20 minutes from A-Basin, 30 minutes to Breckenridge, and hour to Ski Cooper in Leadville...close to shopping and Lake Dillon as well. The condo has everything you would need to make meals and plenty of space to enjoy them. The shower is wonderful, hot and great water pressure. It was a comfortable place to relax after a day of hitting the slopes. The clubhouse where the pool and hot tubs are is a short walk to get to. There are also laundry facilities in the clubhouse; $1.50 to wash and $1.00 to dry. Any questions or concerns we had, Peter was a quick email away and answered promptly.

Nice older condo in good location; no broadcast TV

Like most condos in ski towns, this one is fairly old and showing its age. It's been cared for, and the host was nice and responsive. The outside door lock is tricky (you have to lift up on the key), and unless you have streaming services you can use, there is no access to any broadcast TV networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox), nor can you get widely available networks like ESPN, CNN, MSNBC or even HGTV. Only ROKU-provided "canned" broadcasts are available, except for news which are looped nonstop all day.

Thanks for the review! And yes, I try to keep up good care of my condo and provide the newest features for my guests. These include a smart TV which has ROKU which is considered to be the best Smart-TV provider. And you can get most of those channels on a Roku. There are local news channels, CNN, the Espn App, and other apps like Hulu and Peacock which provide many of those other stations. The problem with the key is news to me and I will remedy that.

Enjoy the stay

The condo itself may not be the most modern, at the same time, it is clean and has everything I need. With a fully stocked kitchen, I was able to cook and enjoy my meals. Bed was very comfortable. It has easy access to shopping and to ski resorts. Owner communicated effectively and timely. For example, the owner informed me when the snow plowing would take place and advised me where to move my car to. He also proactively contacted the housekeeper to secure my tablet after I found out that I had left it in the unit and arranged the date/time for me to pick it up a week later on my way from Winter Park to Snowmass. My recommendation is to upgrade the couch in the living room as they have shown their age.

I bought this condo as a place where I can relax as often as possible. It is central to all the great ski resorts and I have been surprised at how much time I spend here in the summer as well. It is not slope-side, but it's close to everything. I treat it as my second home and so do my guests.

What makes this property unique

I have been renting this condo for 16 years so I have listened to my renters about what they want from a vacation property. Mainly the same comforts that they have at their own home.
