This little gem on the banks of Solitude Creek is a perfect family getaway! With a pool, hot tub, and canoe for exploring the creeks and tributaries of the Tred Avon River, the kids will quickly forget all about their iPads! We love the spacious kitchen and tall ceilings, the fabulous deck for grilling, and the abundant nature at this house. New bedroom configurations give this home more flexibility than ever. For the family in need of quality time together, it has a lot to offer. Just a short distance from the town of St. Michaels, you can easily enjoy dinner, shopping, or even a free outdoor concert within a ten-minute drive.

Swimming Pool: Please note our swimming pools are open from May 15-October 15. Please be sure to bring your own pool towels.

Great stay at Sunrise Cove

House was exactly as advertised — well-equipped with canoe, life vests, plenty of pool toys, and the kitchen had every cooking implement you could need. My wife, 13-old son and I had a ton of fun fishing from the dock, canoeing, and playing in the pool. Will definitely think of this place again for our next visit to the Eastern Shore!

Rental license expired - another property was substituted

While we were a bit wary when we got the call a week before our stay was to begin that this property wasn't available due to the rental license not having been renewed (per the prop mgmt co), they substituted a similarly wonderful property about 10 minutes away from this one. Our stay turned out pretty well nevertheless.

Master bedroom/bath was freezing with no way to warm up, ice machine broken, kitchen utensils, bowls, measuring cups, etc. dirty, cabinet knobs hurt all guests' fingers, insufficient bedding, muddy yard under construction. Hot tub saved the trip, and owner was extremely nice and accommodating and sent back an item we left behind.

I would give the house 2.5 stars. The layout is weird and the 2nd and 3rd bathrooms are extremely old. We stayed three nights. The third night there was a mechanical sound that could be heard in one of the bedrooms that was loud every 5 minutes or so all night... maybe caused it rained all day that day? We could not get the hot tub to go higher than 100 degrees.

TLC needed on property

The house was in a great location. The property was secluded, had a great view, and was very peaceful and relaxing. It was a short drive to St. Michaels and stores in Easton. We were surprised upon arrival because the house was much more dated (and deceiving) than the pictures showed. The kitchen was spacious, but the garbage disposal wasn’t connected, the sink dripped, the top dishwasher shelf was broken, and a lot of the things we wanted to use in the kitchen were old and rusty. The door to the main bedroom did not shut properly. The main tv, family sitting area, and ping pong room made the house comfy. The beds were comfortable, but the tvs in the 3 main bedrooms did not get any channels. We called Eastern Shore to let them know and never head back from anyone. This house would be amazing if it had some TLC and upkeep.

Great house and location

This house is a perfect getaway. It's just a couple miles from St. Michaels, but with the pool, water access, hottub, and gourmet kitchen you might not want to leave. There were just two of us but the house would easily sleep a big family gathering. And Eastern Shore Vacation Rentals was great to deal with and very responsive. We were there in October after the pool was closed but will plan for a return visit in the summer,

Sunrise Cove aka Serenity Cove

We totally enjoyed our stay at Sunrise Cove. We are also calling it Serenity Covw because of how serene the property is. It was so lovely to be there. We took advantage of the fantastic activities offered to us there including canoeing, swimming and relaxing. What a great selection of games, including ping pong, we’re also available. A delightful time was had by all!

The property is true to its address on Solitude Lane. This is a lovely spot on the end of a tidal inlet so there is access to the water but no boat traffic going past the property. The house was well equipped and comfortable.

Sunset Cove was perfect our long weekend birthday celebration!

This property was a perfect setting for our birthday celebration. The house was well equipped and more than comfortable with plenty of bedrooms. and a large kitchen. The pool and hot tub were a special treat as were the canoes and crabbing from the dock. We could not have had a better long weekend birthday getaway. And being so close to St. Michaels made for great fun exploring this Eastern Shore town with really fabulous dining experiences. Thank you!

Needed relaxation

Talk about peaceful, didn’t even hear a neighbor. Property was very clean and decorated and we had everything that we needed. Close to several towns that we visited. We would not hesitate to rent this property again.

Secluded home with beautiful view very close to town.

The house was spacious and the property has a beautiful view of the water and is on a quiet, secluded road. It is a quick 5 minute drive into the town of St Michael's so easy to access the delicious restaurants, etc. The house's kitchen is huge and gets so much natural light. The master bathroom is also a very nice size. The other 2 bathrooms are small and out-dated. We enjoyed our 4 nights at Sunrise Cove and would love to return in the summer to use the pool!

Lovely view. Lots of space for the kids to spread out. Very close to St. Michael's. A little surprised by the many "hidden fees" that appeared at check out when we rented this property.
