Calming
The location is amazing! The beachside bedroom community is charming. No traffic noise and the night sky is spectacular. Provisions must be acquired in Tallahassee (40 min drive) although 15 min away is gas. The first two floors provide for storm surge so no living space. Next level up has 3 bedrooms each with a queen bed and private bath. Laundry room is also on this level. The top floor has a spacious living room, well equipped kitchen and bunk room with a en-suite bathroom. The bunk room has a trundle bed and bunk able to sleep 4. There is also a 1/2 bath on this level. Lots of board games for fun are available too even though we had brought our own. There is also a child gate on the top level. On the ground floor a spacious covered patio with grill and picnic table are available. There is also a child sized climbing wall and slide. The dock is in excellent condition. The view is absolutely lovely from every angle of the home. Like most homes that are near the salt water there are some quirks with the exterior doors and difficulty opening. Be prepared for climbing stairs though. No elevator. We had a maintenance issue that eventually worked out during our stay. Communication was very good. Would return to the area.
