Paradise On Lake Blackshear

We have a 4 bedroom 2 bath home over looking one of the best parts of Lake Blackshear. We are directly across from the Georgia Veterans State Park. Only a 5 minute drive by boat or car to the two restaurants at the state park, Flintside Marina Restaurant, World Famous Booger Bottom and in the car we are 5 minutes away from The Cove, Daphne’s fine dinning, the Dollar General and Striplings Country Store.

In the master suit you will have a queen bed, the first guest room will offer a queen bed, the third room has a queen bed and the fourth room has 2 sets of bunks beds.

We have a boat dock with two boat slips if needed.

We also own the house next door and will be able to assist with any of your needs with easy.

    Reunion weekend

    We so enjoyed the property for our small reunion, the outside kitchen area was perfect for our activities. The boat dock was easy for our people who came by boat! Thank you, hope to see you next year!

    Great Property

    This house is lakefront and has a large plot of land. We were able to relax and play games and enjoy ourselves. Cooking in the outdoor kitchen was so much fun and enjoyable. The house was perfect for our needs, very clean and set up very well. We had a great time!

    Lakeside weekend

    We were there for a short weekend to attend a family wedding. My dad, my husband and I, our two grown children and their partners came from all different cities. There was plenty of room for us and enough parking to accommodate our group. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it more, but the time we were there was very comfortable and the house had everything we needed and nice views of the lake.

    This house was perfect for our family, along with the bonuses of the outside space. Owner was quick to respond to any questions and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely stay here again and/or recommend it to others.

    Fantastic Lakeside Retreat!

    We are usually headed to the beach for family vacations and were disappointed we could not find a place to accommodate all of us. This lakeside retreat was FANTASTIC!!! We stayed on the dock, in the water or on paddle boards and kayaks the whole week! The convenience of having the grills made cooking a breeze! As we have several friends living in the area, we got to visit with them and even made a trip to Ga's own "Grand Canyon". Looking forward to coming back! would recommend this to anyone interested in a quiet relaxing time!

    Lovely property

    We stayed here for my daughter’s graduation from GSW. The place was lovely and had all the amenities. The view of the lake and the grounds is beautiful. Check-in was a breeze and everyone commented on how much they loved the place. Plus we were able to use the slip for our boat which was fabulous. 10 of 10.

    Lake House

    This property provided our family a great space to celebrate my moms birthday. The backyard, deck and dock were awesome! And the view is spectacular! Our one disappointment was the slide on the dock had been removed. The kids, and some adults, we’re looking forward to that. Lol! We would definitely stay at this property again.

    Great hang out at the lake

    Great place to stay. We flew in and rented a car. We didn't cook a thing which is unusual for us, but we had a great stay. Pecan groves on the drive in and out are way interesting. One daughter took a swim or two. Not a lot of time to explore, but it was a great place to hang a hat and rest. Will consider again if in the area for sure.

    Travel ball with extended family and friends long weekend getaway.

    Could not have asked for a more wonderful weekend. Of course weather wasn’t all that great… for softball but, in between the layovers we played pool, cards, fished, watched movies, laughed and made wonderful memories. The owner was absolutely wonderful and so great! All he asked is that we have fun! How awesome was that! We definitely will be back! Not a complaint for one of my family members especially the boys… they loved fishing and kayaking!

    Paradise on Blackshear!

    We had an amazing time! The kids did not want to leave. We enjoyed the convenience of the State Park and Bouys on Blackshear. The views from the sunroom are so beautiful! We loved seeing all the geese on the water.

    We enjoyed our visit to the lake. The property manager was responsive when I reached out to him. The home had a stuffy smell when we arrived. Great view of the lake, enjoyed the deck and dock area. There were a couple of dead roaches inside. Overall good stay

    Perfect Blackshear Rental

    I have been renting properties on Blackshear for years. This one is my favorite. The black stone griddle was a big hit and lots of fun. The kids enjoyed the slide. I enjoyed the quietness of the cove.
