The space
You will love this quiet unit with living room views of the ocean! This recently upgraded and fully furnished throughout, private 2 bedroom home includes a fully appointed kitchen with all appliances including stove, oven, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished with beautiful new crisp linens, pillows and bed coverings. Spacious living room has extra sleeping space with a new comfy sofa. Smart 75 inch Flat Screen HDTV with Bose Sound System, free high-speed WiFi connection, patio with ocean views, assigned garage parking, elevator in building for easy access, hot tub and the best beach location San Diego has to offer. Location is key. Everything is accessible to walking. Grocery store, drugstore, so many restaurants, ice cream, beach. We definitely would stay again.

PHENOMENAL condo! Great view of the waves from the balcony, always a must! A/C in the bedrooms kept us comfortable. The condo is clean, well kept, and well supplied. The building is secured, and a parking place in PB is amazing! This is our new place to stay in PB - near many great food and shopping options. LOVE IT! And if that's not enough - the owner was responsive and easy to work with, making the entire trip easy and carefree.Also has great corners for those unruly kids.

Great Location

Perfect location in the heart of PB. But that also comes with the noise from the alley outside the Bedroom window. Early morning trash and delivery helps you get an early start to the day. Would stay there again for sure

Location was amazing! Kitchen was great. View off the balcony to ocean was stunning! Wish the hot tub would have been working. Overall was a great family experience.

Pacific Beach vacay

Really great location, steps to the beach and restaurants. Ralphs grocery a block away. Laundry right around corner from condo on same floor and was great to have garage space. Communication with owner was instant too and check in easy

Beautiful place!

After our first VRBO reservation abruptly got canceled due to safety reasons, the owner of this beautiful condo saved us! She was quick to communicate, had amazing amenities, and the condo was perfect! Such a nice view of the ocean from the balcony, and it was the perfect location, right in the middle of everything! Great place to stay if you have kids too!! We will definitely be back!

Awesome host!!

The condo was as described and VERY CLEAN! Keep in mind that the building is old but the updates to the condo were great! The included parking spot was fantastic and was able to park the car without having to find street parking! We walked almost everywhere, great coffee a few steps away from the condo and several restaurants to pick from a block or less away. Right on the boardwalk and beach, everything you can possibly need for a relaxing vacation!

Wonderful Girls Weekend

This is the perfect location for any beach get away. There are restaurants, shopping, and entertainment in every direction, and the boardwalk is just steps from the door - it was perfect. We stayed in this unit for a girls weekend with six friends, and we were all very comfortable. The mattresses were great, and there was just enough space for everyone to have their own little space. The extra blankets were perfect for cuddling on the couch while watching the waves in the morning. The hosts were very responsive whenever we had any questions, and I will certainly consider staying in this property again.

Made it through the hurricane

Well we got two fabulous days of sun and ocean. Two bad the only hurricane since 1938 came through on our other days. We enjoyed walking in the rain anyway.

Wonderful rental in Pacific Beach

We loved this rental - the location in Pacific Beach is as good as it gets. The sound (and view) of the ocean waves from the living room and balcony was heavenly. The unit was very well and thoughtfully furnished and it had everything we needed for a relaxing extended weekend trip. The proximity of the unit to the beach, restaurants, grocery store and anything else we needed made it just a perfect rental. And our property manager Gurbani was so helpful and accommodating. I can not say enough great things about our experience. We will be back!

The host was prompt at getting back to us with every issue. I have no complaints about the host. They communicated appropriately to our concerns. If I was going to give any criticism it would be regarding the description of the unit on the website, which we felt was misleading. It is true that it is located right across the street from the beach and pier, so if these are your main desires, it checks these boxes, for sure. But, as for 5 star rental with crisp linens, air conditioning and washer/dryer… read carefully. The washer/dryer are outside the unit, around the corner, and are coin operated. The air conditioning consists of two noisy swamp coolers in the bedrooms. The master bedroom unit window opens onto the third floor hallway, so you can hear people passing and all the bar/alley noise. One night it pulled in the smells from the alley into the apartment, was not pleasant. We spent the warm night with the air conditioner off to get rid of the smell. The interior was sparse and not exceptionally clean, but I have been reassured by the host that our concerns would be addressed, and am hoping the next renter will indeed be able to give a 5 star rating. We did appreciate the ground floor parking garage, which was one of the reasons we rented this unit. All in all , it worked just fine for our short trip, and if you plan on spending your days on the beach, it’s perfect. It is also a close proximity to Ralph’s grocery store, which is very convenient.

Comfortable + Convenient

The location is unbeatable, and the unit was comfortable. Two things I'll mention are: (1) the unit doesn't have laundry (per the description I thought it did, but perhaps this was my oversight). Instead, there are shared coin-op machines down the hallway; (2) the master bedroom has a window that overlooks a shared hallway leading to the trash room, which can get loud and means there's a constant light shining into the bedroom through the curtain. These considerations by no means put a damper on us having a good time and enjoying the unit. The host was extremely responsive when the door code stopped working and we were briefly locked out. We're grateful for her attentiveness and willingness to help us problem solve! We highly recommend this spot.

Terribly outdated and smelled really bad

I’ve never wrote a bad review and hate to have to do so. But this rental had the most terrible smell that gave me a migraine. At first I thought it was cleaning solution but after the first day with windows and air on it was clearly cologne dumped somewhere. The bathroom was not clean at all and if I could attach a picture of the dried up toilet paper stuck to the toilet seat I would. There were dirty clothes in the drawers in the master bedroom and the carpet in the entire place was terrible and stained all over. I will say that the owner was very responsive and the location was great. However the check in was a bit tricky since the garage opener was upstairs and there was no street parking when we arrived. We did arrive late so I’m not sure if that would have been a problem if we arrived earlier. There is also a charge for any person >3 which was not disclosed before we booked and the listing states 6 people were allowed. Renter beware.

You cannot find a better location in Pacific Beach. Once you get here, you do not even need a car. You can walk to everything. The host was so nice and so quick to respond to a few questions I had. Check in and checkout was very easy. I would definitely stay here again.
