Absolutely gorgeous vacation. It was an absolute pleasure getting to be there. The view is amazing and I didn't realize it when we booked. But it is literally right on the cliff next to the river. We my wife and I were able to hike down to the river and walk around. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Thank you so much for your glowing review! We’re thrilled you and your wife had such a wonderful time and got to enjoy the breathtaking cliffside views and river access. It’s fantastic to hear you could hike down and explore, that’s one of our favorite parts too! Your 10/10 recommendation truly means a lot, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime for another amazing getaway.
Super cute cabin in a very quiet part of the Hill Country. Very clean inside, with great views. Perfect relaxing getaway. Unfortunately it was cloudy out when we came, so we didn’t get to see the stars. We will definitely be back to stay again.

The host made sure to provide an excellent experience in addition to the natural beauty. The dry river bed down the cliff was great to hike and there are some great rock formations to climb around. Many deer in the area for great photo opportunities.

If you are looking for an off the beaten path quiet getaway with pretty views and privacy this is the place for you. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back! The cabin was clean and exactly what we needed for a couples getaway. Perfect place for an outside fire and star gazing with zero highway noise. 10/10 recommend this diamond in the rough!

Great for bird watching and enjoying the outdoors. The river was mostly dried up but it was really easy to walk down the bluff with the stairs on the property and explore the dry riverbed.
The house itself had the expected amenities for cooking and allows for a relaxing getaway.
Cute cabin with great views and quiet area. Great getaway from everything but still close to town.
The Prickly Pear cabin at Burnett Ranch was just what my husband and I needed. Very secluded, beautiful views of sunset sitting on the tree swing. Cabin had everything we needed, including a grill. Kitchen had some sugar ants, but as long as we kept tidy they were minimal. Perfect Location between several little towns and centered around wineries, breweries, and distilleries.
Close enough to Wimberly to be convenient, but far enough out to feel like you are really getting away. Cabin seems bigger in person than online, host thought of everything you could need. Only comment is that sometimes we couldn't maintain hot water in the bathroom, but will still highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Stayce, we're so sad to hear that your experience was anything less than perfect. I wanted to investigate the issues you mentioned and I did not see any notes on your booking about reported issues. We do have an on-call team of housekeepers and technicians staffed in order to best accommodate our guests when unexpected issues occur, so we encourage guests to call with any problems. Please send any photos of issues you experienced to guestservices@hillcountrypremier.com and we would be happy to address any outstanding items.
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. It looks even better in person than it does in pictures!! It’s very private and in a wooded area— so might find an occasional bug or field mouse— but that’s part of the charm of getting away from the hustle and bustle. Definitely book this place if you like the idea of being at one with nature in a cozy, peaceful setting. We extra loved the wood burning fireplace and expansive screened in patio. Can’t wait to be back!

We needed a quiet getaway close to home where we could unwind and unplug (plug was avail if needed) and explore nature a bit. We enjoyed exploring the dry riverbed down the stairs at the back of the property. Birds and deer were in abundance on the property. Also enjoyed playing cards on the screened patio with the cool breeze, and taking pics of abundant wildflowers. . All the conveniences of home made this getaway extra special--comfy bed, furniture, well stocked kitchen amenities, . Decorations were on par and we just felt like (if possible) we could just live there!

Very cute house, but could us some cleaning
Everything thing was very nice and clean except when we went to take out the pullout couch bed it was covered in dead moths, not to mention stains all over it!! THIS WAS SO UNACCEPTABLE!! My daughter could not even sleep in the bed and had to instead sleep in the recliner “which was not comfortable ".
The other thing about it was the back porch area! This was nice but was not that clean.... the day bed was fully outside with the floor being only made out of 2’6s and anything could come through at anytime!! The screen on the front porch door was ripped!! There was no access to the river “overgrown ”.
Other than that it was a very nice stay!
We're a retired couple and my husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a low key, easy going kind of visit. We enjoyed nature and had some fantastic birdwatching. We could sit under the ceiling fan on the screened in porch and watch birds alighing on a tree about 20 ft. from us! We brought tubes thinking we could at least sit in the water (knew we couldn't "tube" as it were) but, alas, there was no water in the river at that spot. As it turns out, we really didn't have time for that anyway; but even if there had been water we couldn't have made it down to the river--it was way too steep for us even with the stairs (at our age anyway). So if you really want to "tube" or even sit in the river, this cabin won't work for you. We loved everything else about it. Bed was very comfy; kitchen was good; screened porch was awesome. The television was way "too Smart" for us and we couldn't quite figure it out (we didn't see any directions or anything) but we had brought along our Bose stereo and had books so, again, not a real problem for us. The kitchen could use a toaster..... We would certainly stay at this cabin again. As an aside--the trash bin is way out by the entrance to the property and not anywhere around the cabin....

We loved the property and our stay there. The only thing that needs to be improved is the shower. There was very little water pressure and the water temperature was either freezing cold or burning hot.
Enjoyed a 4-day stay at this cabin. Fireplace inside and fire pit outside. It is located on a cliff overlooking the Blanco River which is sometimes dry, but it's still fun to walk the river bottom. Full kitchen, HVAC system, deer on the grounds.
