Enjoy a stay in the National Forest mountains in Green Valley Lake, a peaceful and friendly village out of the 1950's.

Your mountain get-away is a beautiful tri-level A-Frame cabin with gorgeous views. Sleeps 8 with one full bathroom and a powder room. Recent upgrades include all kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, pool table, game room, WI-FI and internet. Fully furnished with linens, dishes, pots and pans, and more. We have all the sleds you will need for snow play!

Relax on the wide spacious deck and enjoy your morning coffee, a day in the sun, bbq and hot cocoa at night. In the winter months Green Valley Lake is filled with snow and is a winter wonderland. Perfect hillside for sledding in the snow and making a snowman! Once you arrive you will know you found the perfect spot! Our hillside gets inches of snow in the winter months and sometimes until early spring! In the spring and summer months the lake is stocked for fishing. The cabin is a short walk to the lake and village, with trails for hiking. If you feel like taking a drive Running Springs is a short 10 minutes away, Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear are less than a 30 minute drive. The bedroom downstairs is a queen bed and TV with internet. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one queen and two queens. New mattress and bedding throughout all bedrooms. New carpet and new flooring in the kitchen and upstairs bathroom . Upstairs bathroom is fully remodeled with stone shower and cabinetry.

There are two bedrooms upstairs. The upstairs loft has 3 queen beds, two on one side of the loft. The stairway acts as a divider for privacy for the other queen bed that faces the A frame window with amazing views of the stars at night, the mountain sky and tree tops. Note, there is no actual door separating the rooms.

One bedroom at entry level, along with the full bathroom, kitchen and living area that leads to the deck.

The game room and one powder room and laundry is downstairs.

Enjoy the game room downstairs with a pool table and dart board fully set up with bar table and bar stools to enjoy your evening with friends and family.

This rustic A Frame cabin is the perfect get-away anytime of year and you're sure to make some happy memories during your stay.

At 7300 feet, Green Valley Lake is the highest community in Southern California.
A short drive to Snow Valley or Snow Summit to ski and snowboard. The best ever 'Trout' fishing in Spring, Summer or Fall!

Great cabin - perfect for sledding and Snow Valley

My family rented this cabin this past weekend. We had a fantastic trip and would stay here again without hesitation. It is a short walk from open forest land which we had a blast sledding in. It is a 10 minute drive to Snow Valley which we skied and snowboarded at. The cabin had everything we needed and plenty of room for our large family to sleep. The host was super responsive and easy to work with. Thanks again for everything.

great cabin away from the big bear crowds

This is a nice cozy cabin in a great area, if you don't like the crowds at big bear. If snowing, there is a hill behind the cabin for sledding and the downstairs basement game room is great for keeping angst ridden teenagers occupied.

Need to update listing of property

Came back from 3 night stay in this cabin. This house listed as a 4 bd 2.5 bath, but it's not exactly true. This house has 1 bedroom downstairs and 2 rooms upstairs separated only with stairs and half board ( no doors!) with 3 beds in total. No privacy on the 2 floor whatsoever.if someone snoring in one of the upstairs room, good luck to sleep in other room because no doors and no closed walls on second floor. House has only 2 toilets and 1 shower. Do not recommend this place to people with knees problems because you need to be able to use stairs in order to use bathrooms. Also outside deck has only one small table with umbrella for max of 4 people sitting. Thanks god we brought our own table and chairs. The Pool table is missing 1 ball .The kitchen is well stocked, easy to cook. The Communication with manager was easy and fast.

Great fun little cabin and awesome community

A couple of dads and some young kids had a great time at this fun little cabin in the woods. GVL is such a fun and great community and this cabin and location was perfect. The game room was fun for the kids and there were plenty of activities to to outside and around the area.

This cabin has been in our family since my Grandparents built it in 1970. We have many wonderful memories in this cabin growing up and with or family. We've done many upgrades while keeping it a rustic and warm cabin to enjoy anytime of the year.

Why they chose this property

You will have everything you need during any season. The cabin is located in a prime area of the community with a perfect hillside for sledding, a large tree with a swing, and lots to explore on nearby hiking trails with views overlooking Lake Arrrowhead.
