Beautiful spot to serve as a base as we wondered the north shore looking for agates. Easy to swing by and get back to and relax after a day of rock picking. Easy, comfortable and beautiful!
I enjoyed staying here. The room was clean and comfortable, and recently renovated. It was convenient to everything in Two Harbors and the North Shore. The only downside is that it’s right on Highway 61, so you can hear the big trucks and emergency vehicles. With a sound machine at night, it doesn’t really bother. For the price, it’s a great place to stay while visiting the North Shore. I’d stay here again.

It’s a “motel” style with the door to the room right out to the parking lot. Bed was comfortable. It was nicely updated. The bathroom door needs a doorstop on it so it will stay open. The bathroom needs a more powerful fan to remove humidity from the entire space.

Need more heat.
Very clean and nicely decorated. Unfortunately the room never got above 65 degrees with the heat set at 85 over two days. Granted it was below zero but disappointing.
We really enjoyed our stay. Location was convenient and the check in process was super smooth- key pad access was appreciated and Rebecca was prompt with instructions. Amenities were as advertised; space was clean and comfortable. Our only critique was that the bed was very dense and not the most comfortable. This was a very enjoyable stay; would definitely stay again!
Great little motel. There was plenty of room for the two of us. The bed was very comfortable and even though we were close to the highway, it was quiet. You could walk to restaurants and shops. The one thing I would change is the strong odor from either the laundry detergent or some other fragrance.
This is a beautiful and affordable little motel right off MN-61. The style was adorable just like the pictures. Everything was nice and clean. Definitely recommend!
Check in was easy! The room was lovely and had everything I needed. It was hard for me to stay because of the smell. Not a bad smell, but way too much! Way too much. Mostly it seemed to be embedded in the towels and bedding. At first I was afraid the overpowering perfume smell might be covering up something, but the room and things in it seemed nice and clean.
